Regarding the above, please take note.

The PISA complex at Penang got a lot of parking space. It is open to the public, and the parking is free.

However, every time when PC FAIR being held there, the parking is no longer free, for PISA management collect parking fees.

I am no lawyer, I don't know the law. However, I have a feeling that this thing is a little bit fishy.

A. PISA belongs to the Penang State government, and I am not sure if the PISA management has the right to collect parking fees from the public.

B. For the three days PC FAIR being held there, thousands of cars are parked there. The total amount of parking fees is in the tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of Ringgit. My question is: Who get the money?

C. PISA does rent out their space for events such as PC FAIR, but that is different from collecting parking fees from the public. The parking at PISA should be free, no matter if there is any big event such as PC FAIR being held there, because the entire complex belongs to the Penang people.

D. PC FAIR is supposed to be a "Free Admission Event". If the PISA management collects parking fees from the public, can PC FAIR still claim to be a "Free Admission Event"?

I hope the PC FAIR people can give us a satisfactory answer. I like PC FAIR, I go there every time I am in Penang, and I have bought a lot of things there ! However, I don't want anyone to take advantage of PC FAIR, and make money illegally.

Although we have that "tech place" at Prangin Mall, it is like a ghost town.

When I was in America, in almost every cities that I've been, they have tech flea-market at least once a month. All types of tech things, from PC to robots, from software to hardware, from new to old to antique tech items, all are there.

Why we don't have things like this in Malaysia ah?

last week i wen to digital mall to all IT pc market and asking one guy there regarding rambus but then finally i got to know that he dont know what is RAMBUS!!! please la wei..it doesnt matter ur pc shop can enter record book for largest shop but u must know that people working inside must have knowledge about pc technologies....

the best part is he show me DDR and tell me that it is "rambus"...haha..really soo funny! After i show the picture then oni he know the RAMBUS and fianally with a simple word he say 'no stock' then chow from me........hahaha...really funny

last time i go there 1 time be4, but after i go to the PC fair in KL then go ipoh that one just go in only already no more mood, all sell things only and dont even hv a show off PC wanna find the latest graphic card also dont hv, all is streamyx and printers

but not all place hv lowyat leh, my hometown here dont even hv IT complex half the big as lowyat, pendrive at my place here 2GB for RM38

last time i went in manjung..(my hometown), they only have ipod, laptop, printer,
printer, and more printer, plus digicam.lots of digicam, EACAN speaker, or a bit of sonic gear's.

thats all they have..its a pc fair or what? >.<

Try to check out prices other places b4 buying at PC fair

Usually the cheaper stuffs are the accessories, such as mp3 players, 3rd party inks. well from my experience, lets say if there are 2 vendors for hp printers, then one of them sold off. then the other will hike up price, keeping the free gifts. Coz they are the only one left selling hp printers. (usually big companies) For my advice, go lowyat and check. I worked for a particular company b4 and the price hiked up to more than RM 50 difference btw lowyat price and PC fair...last day also same..coz they dun care about not clearing stock...they can keep...in the end.. we have to pack up again sien...

aiya....pc fair in manjung, wat u expect? not much dealers there, even PKM (u noe which shop rite?) dun bother to go do business there hehehe...sama hometown bro...

We are going to participate in this PC Fair by occupying an island of 6 booths which suppose belong to Leapfrog's reseller.We do not know what has happened to their last minute withdrawed.And our last minute participate in this PC Fair 1 under special invitation from a supplier (Not Leapfrog) .

Last pc fair i spotted 1 good offer. They selling hp laptop, 17' at rm4199.00. the normal price for this laptop is around rm6xxx at that time.

I wonder if the can offer more for this time.. may be dell can offer good price for their XPS?

You can take the KTM(at the south entrance) to KL Central. From there change to the Putra LRT and get off at the KLCC station. Should come out to less than RM 5 for a single trip(not sure how much exactly. so used to using touch n go)

hehe, i wouldn't have problem going to pc fair this time around. at Client site jst around KLCC, so walk there. Gonan grab some freebies this time... last time around always cant get....
