Hi all

I want to transfer save games for Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare for pc

I copy the whole profile folder and paste it at the new location

The profile is taken but not the save games.

Meaning that , when i enter the game , i can choose my profile , and the configuration is there too , but when load a save game , theres none , and no level select too

I dont want to start the game again , please help if you guys know what other place should be tweaked

Wat is THE GAME u are referring to? Some save game are inside your My Document folder.

Call of duty 4 for pc

Its on the title

C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents a folder named Activision\Call of Duty 4\Saved games\

I am using Vista , the folder is not there

I tried to search , but no luck

bro im using vista too..search at the game installation folder..

Yap , i am pasting all the save games here

Only the config and the profile is ok , save game is not

That means , i have my profile , my configuration , but when i choose to load a game , its empty

before u load the game..load the profile 1st..i guess

I think the CD Key has to be identical because CD Key is bind into the save data.
Try edit it in Software\Activision\Call of Duty 4\ HKCU or HKLM.

I know why now

Its the config file at the save folder , without it , the save game wont work
