QUOTE(Xu3r @ May 30 2014, 10:28 PM) which one? the used one? or the new one? If the new ones, you can get the T5 is best among all, else if budget is an issue, T4 also can. But once you start to drive a S60, i affraid your brother wont want to come out of the car. Keep on driving. Cause it is damm nice. |

QUOTE(BlackForce @ Jun 2 2014, 05:25 PM) great family with volvo cars around. Mines also power shift as well, hate the jams especially, cause it jerks. But otherwise its fine for me. Dream is to get a XC 60, and hope to get a XC 90 soon as well, well the old one. Cause the new one, i think its a bit far for me. |

QUOTE(Xu3r @ Jun 4 2014, 01:16 AM) Anyone bought S60 the newest model ? if can wait and afford, then better to wait. otherwise if you dont need the new model, you can always save some money getting the old one.My brother going to book at july and he is confused whether there is a newer model coming out ? |

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Jun 4 2014, 12:08 AM) BlackForcesonyman what model you plan to get, every model is different but those major stuff, i got no idea, but regular maintenance yes.I plan to get a new Volvo. May I know how much the price for normal service and maintenance? And the service interval? I heard it's every 20K KM. Not really sure. What about the price for parts? i.e. shock absorber, break pad, engine mounting? Any input is welcome. Thanks. |

The news say there will be new S60 but do not know whether it will arive in malaysia or not no worries babe, the New S60's are already in Shah alam Volvo plant, i have seen them. But Volvo probably will launch one after another. XC 60 first, then S60 with V60 togather. |

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Jun 4 2014, 12:42 PM) V40 T5. none yet, cause it is a 3 year old car. Mostly maintenance. But only the battery RM 780.00 per piece. How old is your car? You haven't changed parts like breakpad, engine mounting, shock absorbers etc? Please let me know parts that you've changed. Do advise price for regular maintenance and the maintenance interval. Thanks. Any other item is fuse RM20.00. V40 T5 probably maybe better. For regular maintenance expect about 950.00 to 2500 per 20K KM service. Anyway if you are getting the V40 T5, you dont need to worry about service cause it is free. So Why bother, plus any issue with breakpad, engine mounting and absorbers are all in the warranty. |

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Jun 4 2014, 03:26 PM) Thanks for your feedback. you getting new right? so you should get a 5 5 5 package, 5 y free service, 5 y warranty and 5 year oncall. For the bold statement, do you mean V40 T5 has free service? It includes free parts like breakpad, engine mounting and absorbers? May I know how many years of free service? |

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Jun 4 2014, 03:33 PM) Yes, I'm getting a new car. no, all new volvo cars sold in Malaysia now comes with a 555 package. So if you getting new, no issue, but to double check, you can always go to glenmarie to find out, else call up and get a salesperson to bring the V40 T5 to you at your home to test drive. The 555 package that you mentioned is the standard warranty or it's an extended warranty? If it's an extended warranty, I'd presume it will cost additional. If I need to pay for the additional, do you have any idea how much it costs? Yes you can do that. if you are really keen in the car. But i must say, getting a V40, you will never regret it. its a bloody nice looking car. |

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Jun 4 2014, 03:42 PM) Noted. Thanks for your advice. respect you choices. They are all great cars. But as you know s60 is coming out with new model, and make sure you get the T5 with ACC, else its just another car. The "555" seems good. I'd consider S60 if I'm not "haunted" by the part replacement cost. Will call the local salesperson to find out more details. |

QUOTE(mazda6mps @ Jun 5 2014, 10:00 PM) That's where the confusion is! Yes that's the reason, sell old s60 first. Xc 60 can launch because all old stock almost finish.wonder why VM SA says only launching/selling mid next year? Trying to dump off all the old stock first? I also heard there are alot of 2012/2013 various models in their inventory. |

anyone of you have seen the new XC 60? i think all in all it is a good package. if you dont care so much of the power boot and also ACC i think its a perfect price, with a new better engine and gearbox.
Else add about 2600 to get the digital display that be enough for it. The rest are just extra with no function. |
