Guys..
I'm using dual core 2.2 ghz.
My average temperature for CPU would be 36 - 45 celcius and mobo would be 40-45 celcius. Is that normal?
thanks!

Well, i read the instruction on the CPU book, it says, the CPU should have a temperature of not more than 37 celcius to run with optimal performance..

TS,
yeah, below 40C for normal use is really the optimum temperature, even if u overclock it...

some ppl wish to go even further by replacing the stock heatsink with really good third party heatsink or water cooling kit... it all depends on your budget and the will to bring the temperature down..

so...... what about AthlonXPs and Pentium4s. smile.gif they work like 50c - 60c range.

btw your processor temp you're looking at is on idle. try looking it at when it's on 100% load for both cores, see if you can maintain 37c. smile.gif does it mean non-optimal performance? nope, not at all.

careful your choice of reading material.

should be normal if everything is on stock cooler, and also in malaysia's ambient temps..
