Hi all, wellcome to my 1st and only mouse cleaning and moding day.
After seeing Ianho's MX-510 turn out to be very neat and clean. So,i think that i need to transform my old G3 that i bought from a forumer.
When it arrived at my hand, the G3 looks so dirty and like an early 80's mouse. laugh.gif

I didn't manage to snap all the pictures while i am taking off all the screws.
I think most of you know already how to take off all those screws.

I hope the one who sold to me his G3 will look at this thread. tongue.gif wink.gif
IMO,this G3 is more than a year old.

Here's the original pictures of the G3 when it arrive on my hand.Looks so dirty. sweat.gif
I don't have much of the original pictures as i was so disappointed by the look of the G3.

the black paint can actually wear off, exposing the grey plastic?

Updates after installing all parts together. thumbup.gif

It looks like new. rclxms.gif
This shot was taken after polishing.

All i did was remove all those gray paint that makes the mouse looks so dull by using a plastic ruler. brows.gif

Thanx man.
I tried to put up a blue LED this morning inside the mouse, but ended up with wasting my time. sweat.gif
There no point for me just to put a LED because theres no light coming out the mouse after a installed the parts. sad.gif

Well,i am not gonna give as i am still thinking on how to mod it.
Gonna get some tips from others later. biggrin.gif
