hey PSP Gurus,
I have lost touch on psp for more than two years. Me and my friend is planning to get a PSP but worried about the warranty. Here are some question i hope you guys can help me with.
1. Can i switch back to the original firmware from the firmware that allows me to play downloaded games if i want to claim warranty if my machine is actually purchased frm Sony? Would Sony be able to check whether i have switch firmware?
2. Does Sony PSP purchased from Singapore provide international warranty including Malaysia?
3. How many dead pixels i must have before i can claim warranty from Sony?
Thanks in advanced

Hey guys,
I need some clarification on network games.
If my friends and i have different firmware version on our psp, can we network together to play a game?
To network, does it mean every unit must have the same UMD game and same version?
What if mine is using UMD disk and my other friends are using the 'ahem' version running on MSPD? Can we still networked?

QUOTE(msn83235502 @ Apr 30 2008, 10:18 AM) for ad-hoc game. u need game that have same region. some games work with different region but most of it only support same region. as for the firmware and other question..the answer is yes. SO this means my UMD region and my friends game region in his MSPD must be the same to networked? As long as the same region, it doesn't matter if i'm using UMD and he is using MSPD, we still can play?
