Anyone know any good shop that can put CFW on my OFW (3.80) slim psp-2001 in Penang Island?

Would be good to know the good shops for when I go back to Malaysia in July.

Could you also list the price I would expect to pay.

thanks for help.

LOL you asked the same question as I did yesterday.
You can check the answer in the previous page.
But there can be contradicting answers.
Yes, you can play the game while charging it.
But of course logically speaking, it won't do good to the battery life I think?
It's best if you take out the battery first if you wanna play using just the power supply.
It all depends on whether you want to prolong your battery life or not.
If I were you, I will not play the psp while charging.

Because the battery will have to input and output power at the same time if you're playing while you're charging.
Whereas if you just charge it without playing, the battery will get a clean charge without having to output the power supply.
Oh well that's what I think so what the heck..

But actually what problem of the game hang? That's is my friend's PSP, somemore is new buyer also, so maybe won't suggest him to upgrade the firmware.

Or is it just only way to solve it?

Its not tht hard to upgrade btw.Just follow the tuts

For fatmsmod:

I think it will solve ur problem.I could be wrong though.

To make firmware 3.80/3.90 works like cfw 3.71 m33

Copy and paste :

Patch to load 3.71 fatmsmod in 3.80/3.90 M33
The purpose of this patch is to load the fat memory stick driver of 3.71 in 3.80/3.90 to make memory stick reading work better.

Note: fatmsmod of 3.71 usually works better because it has a better cache system, and usually reads on bigger blocks.
(in some things is worse than 3.89/3.90 like sometimes reading more data than needed - lazy prediction -).

A question...

Is there any way to install timemachine v0.1 on slim psp without pandora battery? unsure.gif

hi guys..not sure if any of u guys here knows whats wrong wif my pSP

Anyway, my psp became faulty. It only powers on with the power adapter, it does not power on with the battery.

Any idea what's faulty? It turns on for few seconds with the battery only, n shutsdown completely. I have no issue if i were to power it on with the adapter.

Well that sounds like your battery is fried.
Get a new one.
