If you ask me,it is worth it.Try counting and you'll understand why.One UMD costs around RM150 - RM200,and you got two UMD's for about RM100 (If compared with your friend's psp price)
Think positively,and you'll be a happy man lol |

munak991,only into the PSP folder directories. If you want, you can download the file to ANY directory, then use a psp file manager, and move it to wherever you want all on your psp itself.
You might want to try Irshell,NervOS,PSP Filer or maybe even mypspshell. |

simpul, without specific firmware information we can do nothing to help you out.
First, scroll to the settings tab on your XMB (psp menu),then go to system information and tell me what your system software is. |

D.Sync, well it isn't obvious at all.A cso file lacks some functions present in an original UMD game such as sound tracks, online gaming etc. This is because a cso is actually a ripped file of an iso.It actually is better to get an iso if you can,but a cso isn't too bad either.

QUOTE(weingseen @ Aug 22 2008, 09:50 AM) I hope someone can post help regarding those flashing themes, or any tutorial site to guide me with. Alright. What firmware is your psp?I'm a newbie in such cases, in fact I'm afraid to do so too due to news of many noob bricking their own PSP. So guys, any help please? Thanks in advance. If it's either 3.71m33,3.80m33,3.90m33 or 4.01m33,then you can use my guide to install CXMB on your psp.By installing this, you won't brick your psp since it doesn't alter your psp's flash 0. Alright.
1) Do you see the CXMB.prx in recovery mode? -If yes, then your CXMB is correctly installed. 2) Did you download a CTF theme for 3.90m33 (The update -3 doesn't matter) -You can't use the example CTF i posted in my guide because that theme is for 4.01m33 Here, try this theme. http://www.box.net/shared/ubzdt4wwg0 That's heartbeat for 3.90m33. You should see a CTF file as well as a flash 0 folder. IGNORE he flash 0 stuff, just copy the CTF file, and paste it in your ms0:/PSP/THEME. It should now work. Added on August 22, 2008, 5:20 pmThat step 11 is for users who ALREADY have plugins on their psp. Read the guide properly lah.. Added on August 22, 2008, 5:22 pm QUOTE(weingseen @ Aug 22 2008, 11:36 AM) Just come confirmation, is it that simple just copy and paste those file into the flash0? I mean for the XMB one. HAhaha sorry if I really annoyed you.. Yes,flash 0 themes require users to copy/paste theme files into their psp flash 0 manually. This is very dangerous for newbies and i really recommend you to use CTF themes like. You don't wanna mess your psp up just for a theme right?..This post has been edited by Playboy21: Aug 22 2008, 05:22 PM |

Sound recording emulator?
lolwut? Emulators emulate other console roms like GBA,GBC,NES,SNES,PRX etc. Check the emulator section under the homebrew section in http://www.psp-hacks.com |

kiew68,first you need a good PSP Video converter.Only then you can play your favourite videos on your psp.Get pspvideo9.It's sucky, but it'll give you a good idea on psp videos.Once you've converted your videos to the pspmp4 format, place the video with a preferred name in ms0:/VIDEO folder. Then go to the video tab on your XMB and watch it.
XMB is actually a "stylish" name for "Xross Media Bar".It is your psp main menu where you have the settings, photo, music, video, game and the network tabs. |

rockstar teddy,i'd say it's better for you to get two slim units. This mainly is because the slim psp's are already hackable and it will allow you to do many additional stuff on your psp.As for the psp3000,i can't say for sure that it can be hacked seeing that sony has already introduced a new mother board which cannot be hacked in anyways....yes.Of course, psp developers will somehow find a way around this issue, but for the psp3000,i can't say for sure.
It's better to get a psp slim for the time being Just my 2 cents |

Original batteries are the best.Original batteries can be used for the "Pandorization" process,(Can be converted into a Pandora's Battery with ease) while the "fake" ones don't work most of the time.Fake batteries will also cause unwanted problems like wrong battery percentage bar and so on.(Rare issue, but i pernah kena).Otherwise,it's just fine.

As far as i know, and original battery should cost around RM60-RM70.I'm not TOO sure though.
@tech_frix : You can't emulate the Nintendo DS on your psp. It's very obvious mate, the DS has a touch screen while the PSP doesn't.The biggest issue is the dual-screen of course. You can't emulate the Nintendo DS on your psp. There IS an emulator for it,but it's really shitty and it doesn't work at all.Perhaps the developer of it just wanted to rock the psp scene and gain some fame by releasing a non-working emulator. *shrugs* You can find many different emulators like NES,SNES,GBA,GBC,SEGA,N64 and a couple of other emulators at http://www.psp-hacks.com *(Download Section)* |

QUOTE(toottut89 @ Aug 27 2008, 06:52 PM) IT WILL SPOIL YOUR PSP Exactly. It might only brick a.k.a mess up your psp if you flash files from your fake memory stick to you flash0: directory.Otherwise,it's just as tootut89 said JUST kidding. why so worry, everywhere and everyone is selling fake mspd. fake = read/write speed sucks ori = read/write speed is very very good 8gb fake around rm100+ 8gb ori around rm250 it wont spoil your psp. Added on August 27, 2008, 7:00 pm QUOTE(lanusb @ Aug 26 2008, 10:43 PM) You can't 'improve' it,but you can use different type of homebrew media players to enjoy your songs better.Eg:LightMP3 : Saves a lot of battery PSPParticle : Very very very cool looking music visualizer by MK2k Google for the above This post has been edited by Playboy21: Aug 27 2008, 07:00 PM |
