In short, no you cannot run them at 2 ohms. Your amp cannot support that load. However, if you wire the voice coil in series at 8 ohms you'll be able to run the sub. However, you amplifier's output will be half at 300w @ 8ohms instead of 600w @ 4ohms.(1) amp - adam digital
