hey guys,

i cant convince my self that currently the international server ada problem with their so call submarine cable ka!! itu ka!! Recently i cant seem to log into certain site. Its either i cant go through, time out or i need to refresh so many times. It started 4 days ago. Some of the sites my friend can browse but i cant from my place.

So im asking who ever experiencing the same thing please reply to this thread.. it would be greatly appreciate if you could list out which website that affected you. This also effect my xbox 360 LIVE performance. Also, i read from other forums that they are having difficulty connecting to COD4 server lately.

I called up streamyx 3 times and they told me there is nothing wrong with my line. So if anyone out there who has first class information about what is really going on with international websites/server please let us know here. Its getting frustrating.... below are some of the website im currently having problem to view: -

www.clubsnap.com (note that you can go to the main page but once click on forum then only you see the problem)

www.ebay.com (very very slow)

www.facebook.com (cant view, time out)

www.paypal.com (very slow)

www.trademe.co.nz (extremely slow)

hmmm i been calling streamyx the past few weeks regarding my 9pm till 1am high latency issue
all they can tell me is "THERE IS NO PROBLEM AT UR LINE FROM OUR SCREEN"

I am having problems with international sites from my home connection (DJaya) but it's fine from the office which also uses a Streamyx connection. Been having this problem for the past 4 days as well.

i'm also having probs. will definitely lag when playing halo/cod with international players.

u guys can try referring to the WoW threads in here bout different streamyx IPs. changing my IP by reconnecting worked really well for me. now the three blades (marketplace,LIVE,games) will all load but i will still lag if i dont play with other malaysians...

LOLz...what do u expect..It's Screamyx, what else, ...as for COD 4, better play with local player, if u play with international player player , u will get bullied by them becoz of lag!!

i can open those sites without any problem. R u using any proxy ? Firewall ? Any funny settings u have in ur browser ? Sometimes these things affect ur connection to certain website

f***,Jaring is having the same problem.Usually i will get around 3 bars (COD4) and 4 bars (Halo 3)..

But lately im getting red bars and yellows...wtf lol...
i guess The Rat gigit the Cable la.

i have tried everything from changing modem to changing telephon line. The only thing left to do is to call up telekom and ask them to check the telephone cable. But im sure i have to pay them since tmnet cant find any faulty with my line.

But thats the thing!! they can detect us for sure but right up to the pole in front of our house... i dun think they can detect the line thats connected to/in our house!!!. Oh well...

Genosyde .. you are using laptop to compare it or two different pc?

What about downloading.. any issues..?
