I bought my XBOX 360 20th november 2006.Until november 2007,my screen frozen when I was playing NBA LIVE 08.Initially I thought it was only minor problem and I dont even to care about it,a week later,my screen frozen again in my dashboard.I turned it off and start switching it back again,no picture,only the buzzling sound and flash the 3 red lights.By then,I know it is the end of my lovely 360 but I dint give up,.I send back to the shop and get it fixed ,yes, it is fixed after repairing for two weeks,but it still come with RROD after few days later.Again,I send back again for couple of weeks.Anyhow,it still came back WITH RROD after sometime.I am already tired fighting this RROD,now I give up.



The old 360 still at my home now and I put it in my house store room.I now only playing my PSP.

But the owner of the shop offer to trade in back my old 360 and I get the new one probably Falcon Chip 360.But I have to pay RM1100 to get a new one.

I love my 360 so much.Can you all pro XBOX gamers give me the opinions?I plan to get the new one before Chinese New Year. :

Hey dude, just so you know that you're not alone. I think most people are having the same problem. I plan to sell mine as well. FOC 2 games. Anyone interested? Under warranty of course.

Mine has been 3RODed before. But there are people in the Xbox thread who can help. And some can help to retune ur mobo if you are hit by 3ROD.

Like me, I will retune the MB if i get hit by 3ROD. And so far so good, i am still maxing out the lifespan of my Xbox360.

I got my xbox on April 2006.

Virgil is now having my Xbox, and things look bleak.

If I get 3ROD'ed again, I'm not gonna bother with this machine anymore. I'll wait till a fuss-free version comes out on the market.

Now the new xbox all come with Falcon Mobo, is very low low low chance to get 3ROD oredi , cos thet cooler anything is improve!

they IMPROVED... but still GOT 3ROD.. so what the point.... i want 360 FREE with 3ROD. that all... ... come on pakcik pagar.. design new 360 with free 3ROD..

u know some MS engineer is getting a raise when ori supporters and uncle ho fans are buying multiple consoles

if my console can't be fixed, i'll hold out for a jasper if it's RROD free.

if not, i'll jump ship to the ps3.

Most of you all XBOX expert seem like dont recommend me to get another "Falcon" 360

But I heard from Internet that they say the new "Falcon" is much more stable to RROD now!

I am not a smart gamer and I need yours guide.

Go get Falcon set, because this is the first Xbox 360 Console that used 65nm CPU/ 80nm GPU, MS already redesign cooling system/add extra cooling fan and used quality solder. So more reliable than the previous one (xenon & zephyr, Zephyr V2) that used both CPU & GPU 90nm chipset and using cheap solder. Solder and heat are the main cause of RROD as far am i concern. In my experience played almost 4 hours on Falcon, only warm a bit, compare to my old x360 (xenon) played one hour but hot like hell.

the way i see it, the Falcon is probably a safe bet. Its got a redesigned cooling system (while Jasper as of now just seems to be a shift to the 65nm GPU to save costs) which was meant to take care of the overheating problem. Yes there are Falcons with RRODs, but if I'm not mistaken, the 360 is designed to RROD the moment something goes wrong. Say you blow an ethernet port, you get RROD. Of course, no product is flawless.

i think you should ask proper channel to fix it...
maybe you can find virgil... he is quite expert on fixing 3ROD...

u want dead 360?i have one,but without dvd drive(sold).other accessories/parts still there.give-up with 360

even judge-the give up xbox360 and bought ps3.
