QUOTE(nonexno @ Jun 13 2008, 10:28 AM) I freaking know what you mean. S**t I felt asleep 3 times in that stupid long movie. Woke up, felt asleep, woke up, the green thing still there, felt asleep... It was long and boring even if I didn't catch much of it. It must have been torturous for ppl who put up with it the whole movie. It has to be one of the most misunderstood films ever. But its probably too high minded for the Marvel audience |

An arguable point, but it does not turn Hulk into a bad film.

QUOTE(yogurt7 @ Jun 14 2008, 12:05 AM) sorry QuickFire, different people got different taste... But some people have better tastes than others. And yes, Ang Lee's Hulk had fantastic CGI. This post has been edited by BurgaFlippinMan: Jun 14 2008, 12:30 AM |

Btw, all this editing extra footage to the front of the credits is actually illegal if not endorsed by the studio...

Darabont's Indy script is not for sale. Its presumably locked up somewhere in Lucasfilm archives along with Jeb Stuart's, Jeff Nathanson's and Jeffrey Boam's. But, as fate would have it, Darabont's leaked and then spread like wildfire on the internet. I mean, this is the one script that everyone wanted to see after its rejection by Lucas despite enthusiasm from Spielberg. Now it hasn't been confirmed by Paramount, Lucasfilm or Darabont that its legit, but Moriarty of AICN and some other industry insiders have stated that it is legit. It reads like a real script (if it were a hoax, the writer would have to be a screenwriter himself) and someone has definitely been playing whack-a-mole with the sites that hosted the script. So all indications are that it is indeed legit.

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Jun 22 2008, 11:42 AM) No matter which light you see it in, the Hulk should have been trimmed down by half an hour (the first half hour) and I think Iron Man has proved that you can have a good origin story (depth and fun) without boring the heck out of the audience. What made Batman Begins, Iron Man and even this (by .5 star) a better movie was the pacing of the film. I think Begins and Hulk was about the same length but by God, I thought I was watching Lawrence of Arabia when I was switching on to the Hulk. Iron Man and depth? Iron Man AND depth?!I agree 100% with what QuickFire has said about Norton, Iron Man, Batman and Robin and Ang Lee's Hulk. This post has been edited by BurgaFlippinMan: Jun 22 2008, 01:48 PM |

The problem with Norton is that while he always delivers a good nuanced performance, he doesn't have much of a screen presence. He isn't magnetic so to speak.
