Plot Summary: Twelve-year old Aoyagi Ritsuka is left with his insane mother as his only family when his brother, Seimei, is killed suddenly. After moving to a new school, he meets Agatsuma Soubi, who claims to have known his brother. Ritsuka eventually discovers that Soubi and Seimei used to be a fighting pair, whereby Soubi was the "Fighter" and Seimei was the "Sacrifice". Now that Seimei is gone, Ritsuka has inherited Soubi, who will become his "Fighter". After learning that Seimei was killed by an organisation known as the "Seven Moons", Ritsuka decides to investigate into his brother's death, with the sometimes useless help of Soubi, along the way.

I watch the first 15 minutes of the first episode and i decided to give up , anyone here is Loveless fans?

The main 3 reasons i dump it:

1. I am not a G A Y ( At least i think its not for guys , from my point of view , no offense for guys who like it )
2.Episode 13 - Endless ( Episode 13 is my net name , which , in a certain level , i am feeling offended )
3.Cat ears should belongs to girls , not guys ( you should agree with me , i dont want to see " cat woman" , male version on screen )

OK , i am not argue with loveless fans , just , its just not my type

I watched it before realising it was yaoi. I stopped after I did.

My loli sister ask me to buy the DVD but I borrowed it from a male friend...
After watching one episode, it makes me wonder why my friend buy it in the first place....

This is one of the better shounen-ai (this is not exactly yaoi) titles I have read (and watched).

i am only watching it an enjoy nothing more specific than GSG that i like so much lately

I like the show, not because it was shounen-ai or yaoi...
But because the artwork is beautiful.
Soft and pastel-ly.



And I admit the guys in there look cool ...



But I haven't watch it to the end yet.
The show has attractive artwork but just doesn't appeal to me.
I prefer comedy and light-hearted shows.

It is rated as one of the best yaoi show of all time... actually it's categorized under Boy's Love (BL) due to the mild gay contents.

I personally didn't really like it as much as the other yaoifans.
However, I cherish Loveless because this is the earlier anime series that my team first fansubbed.

Love the seiyuu and artwork of it...

To Endless9930: You have the right to not like it, the content of the show is very mild though...

This is in general--> I just can't help but feel offended a bit even not as a Loveless fan myself, but many people just dissed it after knowing it's gay. First they love the artwork and music, and even some funny side of Loveless (especially the Loveless Extras) and when they know it's gay then they will complain or started to make a fuss about it... which is pretty sad in my opinion. The smex of yaoi is one thing that attracts me (this I admit) but the real reason why I like it is cuz there were some sweet, artistically and tastefully done yaoi out there...

I am also glad to say that I found a few straight guys from this forum who actually don't mind and very understanding when it comes to watching yaoi (you know who you are), and no I don't mean those who keep saying they like it and at the same time making fun of it... that is in my opinion, not a true fan.

Loveless is pretty mild to be considered yaoi XD shounen-ai is more accurate. I like the artwork, it's very nice. I have the anime somewhere but have not watch it yet. Is reading the manga though.

Loveless is a very interesting anime/manga. I just got to know about it last 2 days and I already finish reading till the current chapter and finish watching the anime.

Well, I never thought I will watch a shonen-ai anime but the drawing was too nice and I liked how the story goes. I think if you look aside the fact that this is a boyxboy anime, you will find that the way they portrayed the character's love for each other is meaningful and deep. The shonen-ai is very mild and there's some hetero couple as well. Take the main character Ritsuka and Soubi. You see them loving each other but you can see them going for other female characters sometime.

The show is not only about romance and everything. There's a lot of fighting and solving the mystery as well. For once, I really enjoy this show.
