For those like me sign up the HP DIGI PROMO somewhere in August 07. Here is good news as many is seeking how to share out your EDGE connection to MORE THEN 1 notebook/PC.. Here is how u can do to turn your Windows Mobile hp into Wireless Access point. Great news for ANY Data unlimited plan (EDGE/3G/HSPDA)subscriber on any Windows Mobile smartphone

1. Follow the link below to install the WMWifirouter v0.90 software into your hp

2. Choose the download
"Installer for WMWifiRouter without network settings"

3. Run the setup, and it will create a program call "WMWifiRouter" in your hp

4. Go to your hp WIFI setting, create a "Ad-hoc" network.. put in necessary WEP key...

5.) Launch the " WMWifiRouter" program..

6.) Final steps, use your notebook/PC to discover the "Ad-hoc" network u had created. U r done !! Your notebook/PC is connected to your hp Wireless Access point..

GREAT PROGRAM! b4 that i m using ICS but linking very slow... sumore must take extra caution so tat phone wont drop sum where. thining 2 buy a bluetoth den... but expensive...haha... . YEAH i m manage to link with hp notebaook.. thanks mate... hope can discover more great program future

What do u mean? Do u mean the phone OS? It works with Windows Mobile 6.. Anyway, this product is already in commercial..But i still have the FREE version...Which is before the developer decides to go for commercial..

sugen, how is the power consumption...

will drain ipaq's batt fast?
how long can it last?

oo..sure it drains up battery. If u want to use it long time, i will plug my IPAQ to the wall plug...

I got one more thing to share up... SURE it ROCKS.... It can turn our IPAQ into "WIRELESS webcam via WIFI "..Means..IPAQ connected via WIFI as ad-hoc to our notebook.. Then, launch the webcam program in IPAQ.. U can use msn,yahoo messenger... And your IPAQ acts as WIRELESS WEB CAM....
It works well for me...

can use for symbian?
