I was wondering if anybody changed their N95 housing yet? I remember that i read about Black metal housing being sold on ebay at the V3 post.... I'm interested in changing it all; housing, faceplate and num pad!!
I'm using one program called SymbianOn Private Call And Sms Guard v3.20. U can hide SMS and even calls from specific ppl from other ppl, and also use it as a blacklist program. So far I find it really useful.
i read the forum post too. It's a very tight fit because of the rounded edge just under the camera lense.. and u can't close back the original battery cover; have to use a transparent casing for that purpose. I'm looking for cheaper 6L batteries to test it out though
Yeah that's the one... I was looking around Ipoh accessories shops, but only found one shop selling oni the front cover and battery cover, and that already costs RM99!!
Thinking if i should use USD52 for N95 Housingthis baby

Nd4fun, try to google for "N95 product code change". There will be a lot of guides on changing ur product code to APAC (Asia Pacific) which is 0534833 . There are different programs to do this, but the one usually comes up is NSS. Here's a guide i found on another forum:

Yeah, just change the code using NSS, and update the phone... just make sure u follow the instructions for changing the code, should be no problem at all
I'm using with Itech Clip R35, happy to say that it works fine... was really surprised that the stereo music quality is good, and can also use the Skip/Reverse function with AVRCP!!
do u experience any skip or mute in the middle of the track? i exp that.. mostof the n95 user have that as well. playing music.
No wor.. so far, playing music has been smooth. Only once in a while, when i move away from my phone about 5-6 metres, then might experience some disturbance, but overall no problems
don't really care about how 'cheapo' it looks to you... i think it looks just FINE.. It's a tedious process of changing (took me about 4 hours), but I'm just bloody glad that I managed to get it done without causing *much* damage. (will have to look for a microphone replacement, cause there's NO WAY to get the original mic out without destroying it!). The slide is a little too tight now, but I'm hoping it will loosen with use, or i do some modification of my own Cheers!
I downloaded an N95 service manual for servicing staff... it even says confidential on the top There's a youtube video of a chinese guy dismantling an N95 too.
