Does n95 really support up to 8gb microSD? Some other sites are stating up to 2gb or 4gb. I'm confused.

Thanks guys for the info.

I got a problem here. I bought a kingston 8gb MicroSDHC. My n95 keeps locking my memory card. It says need to insert password.

I've tried reformatting it through my pc. Then when i put it back to my phone, the same thing happen. Need to insert password. The memory card works fine in my pc, I'm able to transfer file to it.

I have the latest firmware installed. The same thing happened to the old firmware.

Mind posting the screenshot over here?

At least we could know what software is involved.

You can access the memory card from the PC?

Problem solved. I just downgrade Kingston 8gb MicroSDHC Series 4 to Series 2.
It looks to me that N95 only support up to Series 2

Using the incompatible memory card asks for password instead of cannot detect?

In my case it is correct.
