QUOTE(viqq @ Apr 2 2008, 10:44 PM) I never had problems connecting to the access point with the previous firmware before. yea.. i took about 2 hours to completely upgrade my phone firmware + restoring my backups and stuff. the DL speed of the firmware took too much time. Wah really ... Guess i'm not the only one who is facing this problem.. Apparently I went thru a website stating that this firmware had WiFi problems but I'm too lazy to check back. |

P/S : b4 i use maps2.0, i check my satellite signal, got 5 numbers there.. but those bars are like 0.5cm long and is white in color, whereas i heard u need it black in color for those bars in order to get ur GPS connected.. and how do u check satellite signal for maps 2.0? QUOTE(yaosiang @ Jul 2 2008, 06:37 PM) You Need To Make Sure That You Have Activated 3G And You Can Browse Internet With Maxis 3G WAP As Access Point On Your N95 Before You Use It With A-GPS.. =) all done la.. i am not that noob i think. last time can use GPS, but after my phone vibration spoilt, i send for warranty claims, then after come back bout 1 month , i tried using GPS, but cant work, do u think my antenna got affected? the guy said it was setting problems, as the Satelite Info does show 5 bars, but all short bars. |

QUOTE(pipedream @ Jul 2 2008, 08:38 PM) Another case of shopkeeper denying as usual, like my case there are no settings for gps, either is because gps antenna problem, or ur enviroment problem. what i done is i ask for another set of N95, and take it out to the same location and compare the signal, mine get 0 satelites and whilst his get 3-4 satelites at the same area, and hence he has no choice but to fix it for me, i even open the n95 service manual and ask him kindly refer to that.. i suggest u to take another set of n95 st, either from ur fren or who and compare the result, cz that time when my gps antenna was not rightly connected, i couldn`t detect ANY satelites under clear sky and at times i get 1 satelite at full bar, but thats rarely |
