it is a software by nokia..
no need to download setting from maxis of *100# anymore..

when choosing setting profile, make sure to choose Maxis 3G Internet.

My dopod 838 pro can use 3G and 3.5G with this sim card wor. It is because this device is not compatible with my hotlink 3G card? Or any additional setting?

Add me to the list as well mr-2 -09-02-2008 RM1750, AP CSL free silicon case.

Enjoy the phone so much today using the Camera for photo and video, GPS, Wifi and make some calls. Only drop 2 bar after intensively use till night. Must say the battery is still better than my WM5 PDA.

Still got problem configure my 3G services as still get the 'Packet Data' connection not allowed . If not would had been perfect. Come monday need to bring back to the shop to setup for me. Hope they can solve if not I am changing to N82. sweat.gif

Finally solve the 3G "packet data; connection not allowed" problem. Now can connect to 3.5G aswell. thumbup.gif

Just for the record so that in future those who has this problem can refer to this.

For Packet Data Non-Allowed problem, just go to -
Phone Setting -> Connection -> APN Control -> Option -> Deactivate restrictions then you are done to use 3G WAP.
It will ask you for PIN2.

God bless. smile.gif

Depend you like candy bar or slide. I personally went for the N95 despite N82 have Xenon flash & built in screen rotate for the cool slide and design. I didn't favour the N82 keypad either when I tested both phone before I bought my N95. Other than that both spec are almost same.

If I am not wrong, the still new N82 firmware still have some bug to solve while N95 firmware is quite stable now.

don't really care about how 'cheapo' it looks to you... i think it looks just FINE.. smile.gif It's a tedious process of changing (took me about 4 hours), but I'm just bloody glad that I managed to get it done without causing *much* damage. (will have to look for a microphone replacement, cause there's NO WAY to get the original mic out without destroying it!). The slide is a little too tight now, but I'm hoping it will loosen with use, or i do some modification of my own smile.gif Cheers! smile.gif
