guys Onkyo does not support PCM la i think coz they just switch to support BD... or they really support and ur setup was wrong...
so the best for Onkyo 605 can get is DTS-HS MA i guess and that also can be fully heard with standalone BD...

i dont know much about audio coz i'm still learning but so far my HT can bring the PCM kaboom...

Disney Announces National Treasure Films for Blu-ray

Walt Disney Pictures Buena Vista Home Entertainment has announced that they will release 'National Treasure' and its sequel 'National Treasure: Book of Secrets' for Blu-ray on May 20th. Both blockbuster films will get special two-disc treatment and features exclusive Blu-ray extras not available on the DVD releases. Shawshank Redeption Announced Again

Warner Bros. In an extremely early announcement, Warner Home Video has announced that they will bring 'Shawshank Redemption' to Blu-ray on November 4th. The film, which is currently rated the #2 movie of all time on IMDB.com, has been announced before, only to be removed from the release slate. This time, a date has been assigned, but given how far off the release is slated, expect details to change.

Sony Announces The Devil's Own

Sony Pictures Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that they will release the Harrison Ford film 'The Devil's Own' for Blu-ray on May 6th. Video will be presented in 2.40:1 1080p AVC, and be accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack. No extras have been announced at this time, but expect all the extras from the previous DVD release to be ported to the Blu-ray.

Batman: Gotham Knight Revealed

Warner Bros. Warner Home Video has announced that they will bring 'Batman: Gotham Knight' to Blu-ray on July 8th, day-and-date with the DVD release. The direct-to-video animated release will feature numerous animated segments which have been written a directed by different production teams, including those behind the film releases of 'Batman Begins' and 'The Dark Knight' as well as the award winning 'Batman: The Animated Series'.

Video will be presented in 1.78:1 1080p VC-1. Extras include the following:

* A Mirror for the Bat: The Evil Denizens of Gotham City - A stimulating documentary covering Gotham City's most nefarious of characters, combined with a look into the symbiotic relationship Batman shares with his enemies.

Sony Announces Two New Blu-ray Players

Sony Sony Electronics has announced two new players to their Blu-ray line, the BDP-S350 and the BDP-S550. When released, both will not only be BonusView (Profile v1.1) players, but will also be BD-Live (Profile v2.0) ready, meaning they can be updated via firmware to full BD-Live compatibility. The BDP-S350 will ship sometime in the Summerr for $400, followed in the Fall by the BDP-S550 for $500.

The BDP-S350 will offer 1080p24/60 output via HDMI, an Ethernet port, and decoding of 7.1 Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD. The player will also be capable of bit streaming Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD High Resolution, and DTS-HD Master Audio to a capable receiver. Additionally, it will support for the expanded xvYCC color space during playback of AVCHD discs, and compatibility with most BD, DVD, and CD media.

In addition to having all the features of the S350, the BDP-S550 will feature 1GB of storage of persistent storage. Additionally, it will decode DTS-HD High Resolution and DTS-HD Master Audio and feature 7.1 analog outs.

Both players will feature a slim design to match upcoming Sony Home Theater in a Box (HTIB) products.
