That's their normal selling price. Already 32% discount. nod.gif

From time to time, they will add more discount. But when it's over, the price will change back to it's usual 32%. biggrin.gif

With the demise of HD-DVD you would have thought it would be quite safe to start building up your Blu-ray movie collection, but its apparently not. Fox revealed today that they will be re-releasing Alien Vs. Predator this year complete with BD-Live features. Sony have also said that they will be doing the same with some movies but they are "not 100 percent sure [they're] going back on every disc". The BD-Live features however are apparently very good. Fox's re-release will include a multiplayer game woven into the film that allows you to progress and kill other players. Sweet!

BD-Live not important for me.

Most important: 4-5 stars 1080p picture & lossless audio. thumbup.gif

And, Sony, please, I want DTS-HD MA on PS3. BD-Live can wait. wink.gif

I've been monitoring Amazon prices since 2002. That's how they do business, even for DVDs.

Tesco & Carrefour here in Malaysia also using the same method.

In December, Planet Earth was $60+, last month $50+, now back to normal $60+ already. Maybe next month, or even next week, it'll even be $40+.

But it will never go higher than $68, their normal selling price for Planet Earth, which already more than 32% discount from $99 retail price.

C'mon guys, it's their normal selling price.

Plus, if you bought now even, when they lower their price next week, you can even ask for refund on the price difference.

@aiman - yes....i agree on the normal discounted price that they have which is 31-32% off the price....BUT what I was trying to point out was they have less discounts for BD titles now as compared to a couple of months back...nod.gif

granted there are no major holiday season...sweat.gif..which is why it will be interesting to see if there will be major sales during holiday season...hmm.gif

You know the market for HD discs are still very small right? Now the next step is to encourage mass adoption of HD media.

BDA has made a statement that their next fight is over standard DVD.

The war ain't over yet. BD still have the biggest competitor ever, standard DVD.

Guys, be more positive. wink.gif

30 days.

If within 30 days from the date of your order the title price drops, you can ask for refunds.

It will be credited to your credit card account within 2 days. thumbup.gif

Look what happened to DVD-Audio. It has lost to SACD, but even now SACD is dying. doh.gif
