2600 is quoted frm A&L Audio. 2800 quoted frm Desa HT for V861. V1800 .. Desa HT quoted 4200 and Harvey Norman quoted 4300.

i am still scouting for the Onkyo SR605 b4 i make my decision. can PM me if you know to find one ? i heard there s a shoppe in SS2 specialize in Onkyo products ?

I got my V1800 below 4K at Desa. They did put 4.2k on the price tag, just need to talk them out to get the best price. Good luck.

But yes, the 605 can give your almost same features with lower price.

They have problems with the distributor, which keep changing.

The current one, they won't accept warranty claim for the units bought through previous distributor.

So the customers will have problems with after sales services, which in turn will only burden the retailers.

God only knows when the distributor will change again.

that's what i heard also.. if betw. Onkyo & Yamaha, they will suggest Yamaha if the price difference is not 2 much with the same features.

That's why my friendly electrical shop ask me to buy Yammy instead of Onkyo quoting the service problem also.... (I was considering the SR674 last time).....

i just bought harry potter 1-5 years, potc 1, potc 2, 300, diehard collection from amazon. cost me around rm1k including courier service. i wonder will i kena tax......

some says dun excess rm500 will be fine, but some of the guru here bought more than 10 pcs also didn kena tax?

hope i'm the lucky 1 tongue.gif

all of these under RM1000 using Priority international courier.. well i hope this around i wont get tax by the custom and receive them by this friday at least.
bought all these since our good buddy stringfellow is assisting me in getting BD player from the US... i cant wait for it..

i know some of the movies i bought are way off the quality rating.. but hey i am enjoy watching them.
