I got a Q, what's the average price for a pair of lionhead rabbit? i went to the pet wonderland at midvalley and found that that rex price is so expensive.. can't afford to have it right now.. choose lionhead instead.. but since ppl told me pet wonderland always expensive, now wonder what about lionhead?

QUOTE(stalkie @ Jan 29 2008, 01:37 PM) mr.pipo, if you having hard time trying to buy a rabbit, do consider the cost of maintaining them... at times they are quite pricey also... big packet of good bedding litter cost about RM 50, big box of hay coz about RM 50 - 60 and good packet of pellets cost RM 20 onwards... one time cost that you need to consider would be the cage, litter box, water bottle and maybe toys and etc.... not including the vet fees, least you need annual check-up should be less than RM 50 or so... neuter/spay cost some money too... FYI, rabbit can live up to 8-12 years if taken care properly... Hope you consider all these Thanks for the info stalkie.. may I ask, is there any different if I don't provide my rabbit with bedding litter and hay? i mean, will they feel uncomfortable or unhappy etc..? coz so far, I don;t see any different at the rabbit now.. i mean my dad's rabbit.. other thing, on of them give birth to 4 kits.. total now 14.. >.< but that new 4 kits is from local breed.. I'm planning to use DIY cage since it's much cheaper.. I'll ask my dad about vet.. last time he did sent the mother rabbit to Jabatan Haiwan..

Yesterday, when I'm feeding the rabbits, one of the called "gangster" pee on me.. It first I thought it just the water from the bottle.. then 2nd time.. again.. the 3rd time I saw "Gangter" pusing and then pee.. is he angry or afraid of me? coz i tried to catch him and bring him out.. my dad don't have much time to let him out since he was here.. and my dad bring home an Angora.. female which waiting time to give birth.. hueheu the NZ white kits already grown, now eating pellet.. so cute.. play with them every evening..
