Himalayan mixed breed.... the ears are shorter than normal local rabbits and the eyes are dark ruby, not pink eyes.

Such a gentle rabbit, I wonder how could someone just dump her that way.

You can get it at most petshops. It is called puppy fence or play pen fence. Pet Safari sells for RM20.... but you can find places selling for RM15 I think....

In January, my 3 rabbits, I suspected got some sort of hair mite on them. My rabbits were slightly bald behind their neck, like near the base of the ears.... so I did ivermectin jabs on all of them. Now, all grow new fur. Now my funny short haired lionhead looks more like a lionhead now with her mane growing back. My mixed angora is doubling her fur coat till so fluffy. Solved my problem.

yeah, their hair do grow back. The going bald tends to be one of the biggest worries that ppl have when their rabbits gets mites. I posted a pic of my Snowball b4, a few days after getting the ivermectin jab at the vet, where his entire nose was purely pink! (and this is real noticeable too for a white furred rabbit). One week after that, there's already a thin layer of white fur covering back the nose.

Yah... mine didn't show any crustiness or dandruff.. just it was hairless. So a friend who is a vet, took a look and think it might be mites, so try out the jab. The hairlessness behind the neck was quite long, so I thought normal coz I went to a vet before coz 1 of my rabbits got ear mites, he said normal pulak... LOL

Later I take new pics. So much difference in the fur thickness now.

Rabbits do know how to open cages. I use cage clips for all my cages for years.... this is to ensure no breedings take place when I am not around. My females know how to open their cages to roam about, but coz I have a male, I make sure all my cages are locked up nicely as I do not want any of my rabbits to breed.

The thing is... we as owners, we need to be proactive. If you do not want your rabbits to breed again, then why not neuter your male?

Other members would of course be stern about it coz it really is a toll on the female. Her body ages and weakens fast with birthing and nursing. We as owners and caregivers, we are their guardians.... animals cannot think like us. Instinct plays a big role. Breeding is their aim, their instinct to survive in life. So we need to be careful. Animals go crazy whenever opposite sex of the same species are near. Dogs, cats, mice, horses.... they will all be destructive and act crazy when a female is on heat.

There is a difference between a commercial seller and a hobbyist breeder. That person is a commercial seller, so plain he/she did not think that hobbyist sellers are different. I also interview people that would like to purchase pets from me. But it was very childish to say stuck up seller lah. Anyway, ok, back to bunny talks.

Sangterap, better you watermark your photos so that next time you can use kau kau hahahah.

Dwarf, normally the ears are smaller. But some people at petshops lie, it could be mixed breed. So better get from trusted breeder. I know the rabbits near my house are sold as dwarf but the supplier told me in front of my face that they are mixed dwarf.

It's a bit big for an angora
(It's an angora right?)

The ear is there, but it usually likes to keep it
behind its fur. Really small ears. You can actually
see a bit of it on the 2nd photo

Hold up the ears. Usually, angoras have furry ears. And they are not small rabbits. To me, it looks average size.

If angoras are not furry, then what should they be? Angoras are the furriest rabbits, and in certain places, they use the rabbit's fur to make sweaters and clothes.

Is best to keep rabbits in separate cages to avoid fighting. They are territorial over their space, especially those that are not spayed or neutered.

My 3 are intact male and females..... but I cage them separately and let them out daily for a run. I never let them out without me look out for them, coz you won't know when fights will occur. Take precaution.

Don't care is female or male, most are territorial and do not like new comers. Read up on how to introduce rabbits. Don't simply chuck in a cage and expect them to be lovey dovey.
