Lionhead is a fairly new breed. IT is still being develop as we speak. So, if you are able to produce rabbits with manes you can slowly develop to achieve the desired standard. If you have that intention, it is a good start. Breeding with an objective to achieve a targeted standard is good breeding practice compared to breeding just out of curiosity. You must know what genes your breeding stocks have in order for you to produce the right thing. But it is a good start there producing those manes....
