is it kaytee easy to get from petshop ?

this is first time your bunny give birth or had gave birth before??
may be first timer lack of experience..but from my experience when a bunny seems tak tahu to take care of kits,after the second birth/litter.. i avoided breeding them..to prevent the died of kits..bcoz for me some doe just tak pandai take care of kits..e,g i had three does, but only one of them can be trusted in caring her kits until adult..

We can't expect much coz Malaysia is slow in progressing... they are progressing but slowly

I have not seen much of this Kaytee pellet around but looking at their website, I believe the guarantee analysis is the best of the worst out of all the rabbit pellets available locally.

Is it easily available in all petshops or only certain petshops carry this brand? If I ever run out of Oxbow, I'll need to get this best of the worst brand. LOL.....

The protein level is high because they use alfafa as main ingredient. I believe there is not enough timothy hay to go around to produce good pellets out of them. Wonder when will the day arrive when Oxbow is widely available in Malaysia and all those good for nothing brands from Japan can go to hell for all I care....totally hopeless.

argGGhHHhhhhHHhh....so damn frustrating....can't even get good RABBIT pellets in MALAYSIA.....everything else BOLEH but rabbit pellet TAK BOLEH.....

Pets Family and Pets Safari carry Kaytee pellets but I heard they are recently out of stock. I'm going to open my Oxbow later today    Hope my bunnies enjoy it

RIP for the dead kits..

fisrt time may be she has no experience yet..
but if for second and third time same thing happen,better dont breed her again..
but sometimes the one did better at first time turn to worst in the next time..i experienced this..my white female did very well in the first time..but after that she looks like dont know how to take care of the kits.so i decided not to breed her.different from my dutch colored doe,she did well in every litter,includes her first time.

beside of lack of experience, there were other reasons make the doe didnt take care of her youngs, such as stress, and health problem.privacy is an important thing for a mother rabbit.me if a doe gave birth, i put her cage far from other bunnies, and other creatures.i even cover part of the cage with clothes, making for her an underground nest condition

It would help if u can elaborate on what had happened to your previous rabbit, as most ppl will be rather apprehensive on letting somebody who had just 'lost' a rabbit adopt one of theirs just like that..
