not sure about king fischer, dont recall seeing it, but briter bunny .. i wouldn't use that. high protein, low fiber. good pellets should have low protein (16% or less), high fiber (more than 20%)

hi, my buns grow up by having Alfafa King brand timorthy hay and hagen brand pellets, no problem at all for the past one year. since i join this forum, oxbow products are highly recommended by experience bunny breeder and owner, therefore, i change my buns previous diet brand to oxbow. my buns have been taking oxbow products which include timorthy pellet, oat hay and papaya tables for nearly two months (plan to buy oxbow timorthy hay from Beh's stall tomorrow) rclxms.gif rclxms.gif .......also no problem, in fact what i can notice is their pee is less smelly.......i would not say that the other brands are loudsy but since there are good brand like oxbow in our market, for me, i will go for it as long as i can afford. u might want to browse Beh's website and get a better picture of the oxbow products that are having in the market now, it shows u the weight of the products together with the price as well........ nod.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

do you mean things like Nutri-Cal? I have read before people feeding nutri-cal gel to rabbits but have to double confirm on this.

Healthy rabbits do not need nutrical (or any other dietary supplement). nutrical is very high in calories and is only used when you need to stimulate the appetite of a rabbit which hasn't been eating (and it appears likely that the rabbit will go into GI stasis if it does not start eating again soon)

I will suggest no need give anything to stimulate your rabbit appetite, get a discern pellet and hay, your rabbit will do well. N-Cal is too high in sugar, without any emergency, don't use it to pump up your rabbit, it will cause more harm them more good for your rabbit.

annetize, if you feel your rabbit it not eating, I will suggest you write down the amount your rabbit consume a day. Feeding small amount of fresh green alfalfa hay per day will also do a good job compare with other in-natural product to stimulate appetite. Too hot will also effect the appetite of your rabbit.

Don't mean to sound rude but I do not think Rabbits have feathers. Only birds do. IF you are referring to the "hair" it is called FUR.
