Keeping Proudfoot comfortable...

Proudfoot is currently paralyzed from whatever hit her (suspect major stroke).

Head keeps tilting to the left, so my father and I put a piece of cardboard underneath it to keep it comfy, and put a rug around its head to support the head and give it a comfy place to rest its head on (when it tilts down). Covered it with a piece of towel cos it tends to get rather cold during the night time here.

Warning: following picture is not cute. don't click if you're expecting cute bunnies. photo is of my "hospice bed" setup for my darling Proudfoot (it's a she).

As my rabbits are apartment pets, i cant always take them to the ground, so i made some renovation to their 'house'..

do you mean things like Nutri-Cal? I have read before people feeding nutri-cal gel to rabbits but have to double confirm on this.

I just out of Woodypet stock.. my fren forgot to get them from kl when he went back last wiken. But promised me to get them in the next 2 weeks..  At this momoent. i'm using vitacraft wood shaving as their litter material, except for Daddy. Daddy pees a lot. So i have to scoop all the woodypet in his tray becoz all wet. So now I'm using conservative litter tray for Daddy (layered a wire mesh on top of an empty litter tray to prevent him from soak with urine).

I changed Daddy's drinking bottle 2 weeks ago. From 250ml to 500ml. 250ml water a day seems not enough to him. He is such a kaki botol. The others only drink 100ml-200ml a day. But Daddy drinks 500ml in 24hours!! Daddy's urine is equal amount to the water he drinks.. Every morning and evening i have to clean his tray. There's about 200ml urine in his tray everytime i clean it out. Is it normal?

I cant let him out of his playpen. He pees everywhere, almost every 5-10 minutes (including on my comforter i put in my living area, and the sliding door curtain at the balcony!)

So i called the vet this morning. But the vet said, as long as Daddy's urine is watery and clear , it is ok... If the urine was yellow (or darker color) and thick, then i shud worry...

But i'm still worry la...

Never saw yellow poo before.. But i think 2 months old is not an appropriate age to feed fruits and vege.. maybe u shud stick to the hay and plain water. Dont change the diet suddenly.. Better go to the vet. My 1st rabbit died after i feed him with half of a grape! (my wrong!).. so dont simply feed ur rabbit at this age..
