QUOTE(tslim2531 @ Jan 15 2008, 12:17 AM) Now, I wish to book the all new SAGA. Can I ask how is the booking process be done since I havent have the experience of booking a car and fear of being cheated by those sales person. Some of my questions : 1) Is it better to book the new SAGA after the launch? I have seen all those real photo of the cars and I'm definitely confirmed want to buy 1 2) Is the booking fee of RM500 refundable ? (Just as an assurance) 3) Do I have to go to different showroom to ask for a better deal? (I stay at Bukit Mertajam and there are a many PROTON EDAR showroom around - Juru Autocity, Bandar Perda, Megamall (beside it), Butterworth (Jelita Menawan). Does anyone has good buying experience from any of those or the one I didnt mention ? 4) Is the booking process is just fill in some personal information, then choose the spec, color that I want, then pay RM 500 and get the receipt as proof. Is it just that or am I missing something ? 5) Can somebody share your experience here? Thanks very very much. QUOTE(zc_squash @ Jan 15 2008, 12:50 AM) My advice, don'k book Proton's car after launching IF u want it fast, better book before launching Proton's has been doing this for years promis promise & promise just imagine last month i heard my friend still didn't get his Persona after 6 month to make it worst, he changed 2 dealers already for NEW SAGA, it is advisable to wait at least the 3rd,4th or 5th batch get their car 1st & 2nd batch is people who order before launching 3rd, 4th & 5th batch is people who book after launching & willing to wait 6 to 9 months, even worst than that, may be 1 year It's better & easier to wait after a year or more BUT if u want to take the risk, be my guess I learned a lot how proton's work they didn't produce stock for the market they like to wait for market 1st, how many people ordered etc etc from there, they will produce stock & most of them in low QC lot of probs IF u want Proton's car with less prob, wait a year OR more read lot of news about new SAGA, their owner, probs so on & so forth read lot of review about SAGA before jumping into buying it (but sometimes Proton paid writers to write false statement about their car) listen what their new owner want to say about their car after a year join cars forum like MOTORTRADER & AUTOWORLD to keep track on SAGA performance & probs For the time being, while waiting, keep your money, top up your downpayment don't make loan repayment more than 7 years coz Proton's car can't survive 7 years Proton's old car like Wira & previous model can stay that long BUT not for models after that my brother in law WAJA Campro, got major probs last year, 7 years like my car, but major repair top up your downpayment & loan repayment below 7 years |

QUOTE(tiSSue_paPer @ Jan 15 2008, 09:30 AM) Sales Promoter always said this:"READY STOCK!" "READY STOCK!" how come you have the stock ready when the car still dunno where actually? you yourself dunno whether proton allocate the stock to your shop or not? IF proton give to your shop, there's already 1000 customers waiting in list this is what you called READY STOCK? almost all car dealer said that; ready stock, ready stock BUT when pay booking fees, the misery starts AFTER 1 year, there's ready stock actually, real one This post has been edited by madstone: Jan 15 2008, 09:57 AM |

Wait 1 year lor to see what owners gonna say about SAGA
waiting is misery but worth waiting don't easily jump into conclusion to buy just because of the outside of the car give it a test drive then wait SAGA owner say about their new SAGA This post has been edited by madstone: Jan 19 2008, 12:30 PM |

Watched Saga display yesterday at Alamanda
I kinda like the rear space especially the leg part it's kinda spacious, not like Honda Civic rear area the finishing of SAGA is 7.5/10 for me not bad for a new beginning |
