TUV could be extended from Savvy.
No. It is better than Benz as it has Lotus steering and TUV sticker taken from Savvy. Correct me if I'm wrong, Proton interior follow continental feel, so no cheap hard plastic too, only expensive continental plastic.
Wrong. Proton is following continental-like build with TUV certification sticker, it is BMW that will loose to Proton. Perodua is just cheap plastic. Even people in UK and Iran know this.
Correct. DVVT sticker can eat Saga anytime. But New Saga no idea as it has more sticker than the old one. Savvy 1.2L from KL to Singapore take 30min only, this new Saga 1.3L must be less than 30min.
For 35k~40k, a car that has better quality than Benz & BMW, TUV cert, Lotus handling & steering, strong chasis, invincible power window because of using new scissor lift concept, powerful engine with IAFM (better than iVTEC, VVTi and DVVT), it will be the winner for years to come. Go buy!!!

Bro, u haven't seen the specs for this car yet? Its not built for power, acceleration 0-100 for manual 13.5s, for auto 14.5s - MyVi 0-60 in 11.3, that's for the manual, auto not sure. Top speed, Saga manual 160kph, auto 155kph. MyVi manual 169kph, auto not too sure. However, with the lotus tuning, and hopefully TUV (cos Savvy, Satria Neo & Persona were very successful in terms of comfort & engine reliability)and IFAM (built for effeciency), its a completely different thing from iVTEC, VVTi and DVVT, so u can't really say its better or worse. Its the CPS that's comparable to those, new wajas gonna get it. so how bad can the new saga be? i really can't wait to see the interior. should be quite confortable too methinks. if i like it, booking & DP on the spot!!!

this car if compare to waja..new saga is longer and higher than the current waja but waja is slightly wider...i am so excited about this new car..i am gonna book it tmr...any comments mate?

Are u sure its longer and higher than the waja? I find that hard to believe. As it is, the 1.6 engine is already having trouble powering the Waja. And this one's a 1.3. From the picture, it looks about the size of a Toyota Vios only.

Actually, i meant to say the number of bookings for Proton's cars are quite consistent, except for the Savvy which got pwned by Myvi thanks to its stupid advertising campaign. therefore the number of bookings does not reflect the quality of the car. I'm guessing sales numbers after the first year would be a better indicator?

I can't remember what the savvy advrtising campaign was like, but did they hide it in a stupid black box like they did with this and the persona? if so, no wonder it got pawned by the MyVi. But i think it got pawned not cos of the advert though. Advert's got little to do with it. Its just the MyVi-Toyota/Daihatsu technology thing, makes it 'appear' more marketable that's all. Its got a slightly more marketable look as well, but personally i prefer the savvy.

You'd rather trade sex for an entry level subcompact Malaysian made car? Ja, I mean, i like the car, but i prefer...

yup..is longer and higher if u compare the dimension from the new saga and the current waja's brochure
*
Hey bro, its only higher. Not longer or wider. Reference from EON website for Waja, advertisement handout provided by Proton Edar for BLM.
Here's the dimensions:
BLM: (L)x(W)x(H) = 4257 x 1680 x 1502mm
Weight: 1065kg (M-Line auto)

Waja: 4465 x 1740 x 1420
Weight: 1205kg (1.6 Auto) smile.gif
