I am no sifu.

1. Open a  CDS account with any investment banks etc if you don't have one, if you already have one, go to 2.
2. Go ATM and apply; else can use internet banking for some of the banks, only MBB & CIMB normally have, RHB sometime, the rest don't think so.
3. Wait for result.

personally i'm using HLebroking. it's not a nominee account, setting up the CDS and everything can be done at Wisma HLA (i did it there) through forms.

Standard charges are 0.42% for 0-100k transac, 0.20% above 100k. RM12 minimum brokerage.
Day trade - max 0.10%.

but the charges are very dependent on how low u can bargain with them.

i'm not sure about Jupiter whether there account is a direct / nominee CDS account though. but just inputting my 2 sens. icon_rolleyes.gif

just want to clarify on this.

WA, WB, WC, etc are all company-issued warrants. the end-alphabet is just a suffix to differentiate between the various warrants.

those with LA such as Waseong-LA, are ICULS (Irredeemable Convertible Unsecured Loan Stock)

stocks like YTLLAND-PA/DPS-PA/TALAM-PA are ICPS (Irrdeemable Covertible Preference Shares)

for PBBANK-CJ, PBBANK-CK, PBBANK-CL the C means the stock is a call-warrant, usually issued by an underwriting investment bank.

i dont know much about ICULS and ICPS tbh.  blush.gif

Hey guys im new in the stock market.

Can anyone help me with this. A share price is determined by the demand and supply of the shares. But everytime when someone buys or sells the share, there will be someone on the other side of the transaction that is selling or buying at the same amount of shares. So how can we say that the demand/supply is higher when both side of the transactions are the same amount?

Sorry for this retarded question.

Everyone interpretes stock market differently.
Somebody may buy dip/chase high; other sides may take profit/cut loss.

the current price is the stable point where buyers and sellers equally fixing the price.

there are equal buyers and sellers for done trades.

For queueing trades, more buyers mean likely the share may raise; while more sellers mean likely the share may dip.

but it is not guaranteed.. big boss may be manipulate this data.

like this:

if you see

sell queue:
3.45: 1000000
3.44: 90
3.43: 500
3.42: 500
3.41: 100000

buy queue:
3.40:50000
3.39: 4000

You should see that current resistant point is 3.41 while next resistant point should be 3.45..

we don't know who will win at the end..
