Is there a section on "Private Placement" somewhere in this thread?

Does this exercise reflect badly on a stock?

This shareholding change part is somewhat confusing,

1. The date of change is 1 Jan 00, is that a typo for 2011? Shouldn't announcement be declared only after the change?
2. The amounts are all the same? Maybe I don't know how to read this properly

This is the intraday numbers in osk's platform, it's somewhat annoying that they label the red part SELL, and the blue part BUY, as I had to mentally inverse them when I look at it..

Is there a reasonable explanation for this?

Does 'SELL' mean the stocks changed hands at seller's price, which is bullish and 'BUY' mean it traded at buyer's price which is bearish?

EPF disposing meaning some big sharks are collecting dude. And btw its far from its TP.

I'm confused by this. What's the meaning when I see EPF (3,000,000) vs EPF +3,000,000

Which one,

1) They are taking profits therefore bearish about this stock
2) They are actually allocating a bulk amount to some anon 'big shark', who is making an entry at a nice price, therefore bullish on the stock

KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of MALAYSIA BUILDING SOCIETY BHD [] (MBSB) fell in morning trade on Wednesday, May 4 after its renounceable rights issue of up to 506.98 million shares went ex.

^this was from 3 months ago.

The question is, is there a specific page on the bursa site which displays all the rights issues, warrants and other derivatives related to the mother share?

Does anyone know how to get historical data, plus the weekly updates for a fresh install of metastock?

via an archived thread:

Yes, the default file type is defaulted to AIQ,  here the steps
-----Source-------
File Type: ASCII Text
Folder: ---> to the folder where u downloaded the csv file --
File Name:  ---->click the Browse button
++++++++++++++Inside the Choose Source File dialog+++++++++++
-------------------------Files of Type: All Files(*.*)
-------------------------The downloaded csv file should appear, just select it and click Open

------Destination-----
File Type: Metastock
Folder: ------> any folder that u wish to hold the data

Click OK button, u will start the import process.
Once it is done, open your Metastock
In Metastock, go to "File"-> Open, in the open dialog, go to the Folder where u keep the data(previously imported), u will find 27 folders( 3, A, B, C....)
each folder holding the share counter with their first Stock code, for example, folder 'A' u will find "AEON",  folder "P" u you find "pbbank"...

Hi there, I'm at this point now, using The Downloader.

The historical data was in a zip file, allhistoricaldata.zip and this became 27 .txt files.

Using the above (SOURCE) and (DESTINATION) ... the files (all the txt files were selected in one go) was converted but the result is about 1384 files mostly DAT, MWD and a few MASTER files. Did something went wrong?

QUOTE
For myself, i download the historical data on weekly basis, because their historical data has all the Adjustment done, after that, i import the daily csv file daily for 5 week days.
Just realised that klseeod.com added the Download-All  in the historical data page, now we no need to download 27 zip files so ma-fan.

Is the weekly data the same file as allhistoricaldata.zip or is that found on another page?
