Hi all, Let's say I ask my remisier to sell Stock A for RM20k and, later on the same day, ask him to buy Stock B for RM18k. i) Can the money from the sale of Stock A be used to pay for Stock B or do I have to pay first for Stock B? ii) Is sale of Stock A and purchase of Stock B on same day considered one contract aka cheaper than if I buy or sell on different days? Thanks. |

Noob question here, on behalf of my dad.
Is it safe and normal practise to pass a cheque (with substantial payment) to a remisier that one has known for only a few days? The cheque is "AC Payee Only" and the payee is the investment bank. Is that safe enough? Cause I heard scam artists have means to "adjust" the info on the cheques? (for certain reasons, cheque deposit machine/payment at counter are not options) This post has been edited by GenY: Jun 4 2011, 10:52 PM |

Hi all - a quick question.
If I want to deposit a cheque into a cheque deposit machine and the payee is OSK Investment Bank, what should I write on the back of the cheque - on the space for account number, name and contact number? Is it the account number of OSK and name = OSK? What about contact number - should I put my remisier's or the bank's general line? Thanks. This post has been edited by GenY: Jun 13 2011, 11:55 AM |
