I have a question for pre-market price of u.s. market, lets say if I que to sell a stock at the price of 0.90 (offline not realtime), then suddently the djia futures rise, and the pre-market price is up to 1.00 now, I cant get my remiser to ammend the price now as the office is closed now doh.gif, and once the market is open, my price will be matched,

will it be match on the price that i have que to sell for (lower), or the higher price once the market is open(pre-market price)? rclxub.gif

Hi all
Please help me to understanding what is capital repayment & its affect on the company or share price?
e.g. TM announced capital repayment of 98sens yesterday. This is a lot of money but how come the share price go up less than the amount e.g. up from RM3.28 to RM3.54, 26sens only.

Capital repayment means company pay back capital to shareholder, because got excess capital etc.
The price not necessarily going up after the announcement (but they always did tongue.gif ), the rationale being, even if the company not doing capital repayment, the money was kept in the company as well (safeguard by the company). The amount announced was not extra money they had earn but part of the money they already sit on top of it, so the hike should never match the quantum announced (if they did, then too bad, there are something called goreng). tongue.gif

Does anyone know that Bursa Saham will send out individual statement of account to correspondence address only? Or will send to both correspondence address and registered address(address in IC)? Provided that correspondence address is different with registered address. Thanks

You mean CDS statement?

They only send it to correspondence address only.

Only if you change the correspondence address then only extra copy (notice of changing address, not CDS statement) being sent to the home adress (as IC).

Just a quick check...

How many of you investor use the "Dog of the Dow" strategy?

I, think this strategy is simple enough to follow. May want to try this strategy.

What do you guru(s) think?

Xuzen

P/S:

Does any mutual/unit trust in M'sia that employ this strategy?

I am wandering how the dividend been calculated? For example, we said that company is giving 3% for the dividend payouts. How much will that be actually? I am understand for the 30 sen per share will be basically like for 100 share, the payout will be RM30.

Your question itself is not clear. Generally, if company declare 3% dividend payout, that's compare to the market price of the share, but seldom we see company benchmark dividend to market price of their share, at least in Malaysia.
That will be RM30 if their par value per share is RM1.
