What's the market cap restriction to be categorized under FBM Small Cap Index?

In other words what is consider small and mid cap stock?
*
IIRC

FBM Small Cap Index = all the Main Board companies excluding the Top 100.

Shareholders just need to walk in , but better bring along some proof such as a simple cds statement to show that u are an original shareholder, and maybe u get a door gift upon proper identification and signing ( to attend the AGM ) ........

Can Ask the management , the Q why there is no free door gift during the meeting........or else entitled to sell off the shares if u are unhappy........

Which counter ?
Just walk in. They will need your IC to key-in to thier laptop to verify U R an existing member. B4 the meeting, there will be coffee/tea and sometimes some kuih for shareholders to drink/eat and minggle around with other shareholders. Usually there is door gift...which could be just a lunch pack, where U can take back to eat at your leisure.

Is stamp duty and clearing fees still payable for a contra trade?

This might seem silly but ever wonder why both seller and buyer needs to pay stamp duty and clearing fees for what is essentially one transaction between buyer and seller?

Thanks in advance.

You already answer your own question. Thats why sometimes must check before market closing, otherwise you need to pay twice if you want to add more the next day.

Hi, im wondering.

If a company issue a bonus 1:1 to shareholder, do we actually gain in term of the stock price rise or just share?

Bought XXX share before bonus, then company issue bonus 1:1. thus acknowledge the extra share.

How about the share price? as it went up. do I get my returns?
*
Share price will be divided evenly according to the bonus issue ratio. No price gain.

If share split, then the par value will be reduced as per ratio of split but bonus issue will not reduce its par value.

Noted that JobStreet is now a Tier 2 company. Understand that SKILL Aust is buying Jobstreet. Don't understand why the "downgrade" from Tier 1 to Tier 2 just because of the purchase.

Thanks.

Maybe I understand the purchase wrongly. SKILL only bought the assets in JS and JS is now a shell building up its assets again?

Yes, agree that some companies are judged differently after some internal changes. I though moving from Tier 1 to Tier 2 is not based on our perception of the companies but company's characteristics as specified by the exchange board. No?
