Is there any website (history data) out there for the users to insert the insert the time of purchase and amount to invest in so that they know after so long how much gains they made ? ( include dividend and split shares).

With this then i can know this share return in the period of 5 year is 100%(let say). So i can invest for long term instead of daily trade since it meet my expectation of returns.

Secondly is the scenario above feasible for retailer trader ?

Sifu @gark can give your advise ?

If single tier or tax exempt no need, if taxable then yes.

Hi there,

As we all aware that to purchase a share in Malaysia market, the minimum lot that we need to purchase is 1 lot = 100 units.

Just wonder, what if we have bonus issue and the unit we holding are 150 for now. What should we do or how can we cash out for money?

Thank you

Q1:I was wondering if a stock of a company i buy suddenly turn private what will happen to the stock i keep?

Q2: will it become no value? and won't get any dividend ?

Q3: if the company is offering to buyback at the price RM 2 per share how do i sell it ?
sell it on a normal market or is there something like i need to write in letter to the company to ask some document to sell back to the company.

1. You will be offered privatization, and they will pay you cash based on proposed sum. If you refuse, stock might fail privatization and continue as normal. If pass privatization vote and delisted but you still be shareholder, only cannot trade the share. Sometimes enough vote the privatization becomes unconditional and you must sell.

2. Yes you will still get dividend if it is declared even if the share privatized and delisted.

3. Sign on the form they will send you. You can indicate you can either accept or refuse.

Never thought of that! Thanks.

But what was the purpose beside paying the buy-sell fees?

To artificially generate some volume?

Cheerio.

Hi, im wondering.

If a company issue a bonus 1:1 to shareholder, do we actually gain in term of the stock price rise or just share?

Bought XXX share before bonus, then company issue bonus 1:1. thus acknowledge the extra share.

How about the share price? as it went up. do I get my returns?
