Aluminium Xbox 360 replacement enclosure debut

Lian Li has been showing off its prototype aluminum Xbox 360 replacement enclosure at this years CES. Lian Li's enclosure offers a vast improvement over the original Xbox 360 chassis' cooling and is much quieter. There is also the possibility of users being able to change their Xbox 360 hard drive with a cheaper and larger drive. It is not the final product but they hope to launch the enclosure later this year.

But I also felt the case a lil bit too big.

he using the new heatsink 360 still cant prove that will 3rod free with that super duper casing.

Exactly my point. It's as bis as a desktop PC.
But the xtra space should useful for a much better cooling system. So it's a-ok

I guess if you care more about gaming than the design of your console, this is a very good option. Just hope that it's not too expensive.

IMO the design looks classy and elegant ... , just a little big on the size .

i was gonna have squeal like a girl when i saw this

then i thought for awhile, if all this does is put the nicely designed exterior of a 360 into a huge black aluminum box (thus making it cumbersome to bring around) then it's pretty damn pointless.

my 360 just sits there, i never move them. this is great for those poor soul that has anything less than a falcon/zephyr. it should help with the air circulation

Lian Li case = probably above RM600...

Huhu... in case of 'special' case, got to think twice to buy one...

i wonder if its quieter when its in the lian li case...

I aint getting it if it dont run Windows

I believe a console should never look like a PC and a PC should never look like a console.

Don't care bout the look, it's about the water cooling and ventilation.

is this some extrenal casing where you just buy and put your xbox into it?

Sounds like it. I suspect some pulling apart would be needed though...
