Hi all, my current gaming rig is as in my sig below.

3.2Ghz AMD Phenom II X4 955
Asus M4A88T-M
2 x 2GB Kingston PC1333
Asus GTX460 1GB DDR5 256bit
60GB OCZ SSD Agility 2
150GB WD VelociRaptor
Corsair H50 Hydro Cooling

I was hoping to be able to play games like Amnesia in full 1920 x 1080 resolution, but found that my video card wasn't powerful enough.

Problem is, I didn't pick an SLI-enabled mobo to begin with, so now I need to replace the mobo and pick up an extra GTX460 (and upgrade the PSU, if needed). Can anyone recommend a suitable motherboard?

What would be the most cost-effective solution here? Change the mobo and PSU and pick up another GTX460 or just upgrade the video card alone? I can rationalize it by recycling the mobo and PSU and putting together an extra system.

Bummer sad.gif So if I want to play at 1920 x 1080, what's the most cost-effective graphics card on the market now? Assuming a budget of under 1k.

Ok, forget the budget. What card can you recommend that'll last me a while? Best bang for the buck.

Is a single GTX570 faster than 2 x GTX460 in SLI?

Someone's selling a GTX460 and I'm trying to decide if it's worth picking up the card and replacing my mobo so I can SLI them, or just upgrading to the GTX570.
