It seems that bandwidth is one of the factor. keep in mind ur 8x 8x mobo is version 1.1, not latest mobo with 2.0. U get 14k+++ is a good score already.

I also got trouble overclocking in SLI, the performance drop after overclocking!?

Ur PSU should be ok to pump more power to high cpu clock. maybe ur mobo.

No need, but 85GT is very poor for pyhsx card. At least 9600GT will work.
