In my opinion, it's not really fair for those FIFA players because only FIFA doesn't have a prize for 2nd runner-up and the prizes are not attractive compared to Dota and CS. What's RM50 just for the 2nd runner-up? I mean Dota and CS players only pay an extra RM2 each and they have better cash prizes?

I believe most of the participants live far from Cyberjaya and they have to spend money and time just to travel to MMU to participate (even i come all the way from Ipoh) while my clan mates & I are currently having difficulties to organize our time to attend. Anyway, my sole purpose of joining this competition is to get experience and training instead of aiming for the prizes. I'm just wondering there might be someone who feel it's not worth it to join and in the end, many will not turn up. Just my 2 cents

Haha if want play also...do we have time to play? Dunno what time FIFA will finish also on that day

EDITED: I'm actually wondering if CS and FIFA can finish playing in just 1 day? How many computers are used? If the tourney ended late at night, many people will have to resort to taxi to get home and that's the least people will want to spend their money on.

Totally agreed with highwind, FIFA08 cannot use FIFA07 old rules. It's best to use the SEC 08 rules as it's the only international FIFA08 rules.

I'm speaking from my experiences as a competitive FIFA player, i hope the rules for FIFA will be finalized and made clear for the participants before starting to avoid any problems later on. Also experienced FIFA marshals should be used or if there aren't any, you will have to ask the FIFA marshals to start learning on what are the rules for FIFA08. Just a suggestion from me, if you have no idea or have very limited knowledge on organizing FIFA tourney, such as what are the Dos & Don'ts, which patches to install (currently 3 patches to update the FIFA08), what useful applications can be used (padpatcher), and etc. you can and should get help and advices from us, particularly highwind or youqi who are also MMU students or any of the experienced FIFA players. This is just to ensure the FIFA event will go smoothly and without any arguments or disagreements.

I'm quite shocked to see you guys used the OLD FIFA07 rules for FIFA08. What makes you guys think using the old rules is better?

I mean there are already rules for FIFA08 released by WCG and these rules are to be used for all future competitions. So my question is why not use the rules which are already carefully studied and implemented by WCG personnels? The links have been provided by highwind and also gendz again now.

The old rules definitely are not recommended to be used on FIFA08. FIFA07 and FIFA08 are 2 different gameplays, if you have no idea. So i definitely suggest using the rules set by WCG for everyone's convenience.

Another thing, what do you mean by 'JOGA Season 4 FIFA08 Tourney'?

Loon there's nothing unfair also what. In fact, there's nothing need to be modified. Just take the rules set by SEC then everything is fine liao. Just that you guys need to clearly brief the rules on the participants before starting, especially those newbies.
