I found something while looking for a way to speed up P2P. Lets you test if ur speed is throttled. I got a negative on the simple test. So yeah it seems just that our broadband sucks, not that they are throttling us.

what i heard from my fren, currently Streamyx is blocking the bandwidth for P2P during on-peak hour...
P2P only open up full blast on off-peak hour (night time)...
i had try it out and it seem true
but, my fren still got high transfer rate even at 11am...
so the conclusion, it depend on what based station (exchange) you connected to...
some based station has an out dated equipment, which dont have that capability... so luck you...

try the test on both peak. see what are the result

white_neck, interesting facts. even the full test showed negative. Is sunday late evening in the peak hour?

Konami probably knew they were going to have problems with the registration process. That's why the released the demo on 17th and only allows it to go online on 21st. 4 or 5 days to iron things out. So we've been busy playing the Metal Gear Registration game the last few days. Very addictive. Lots of replay value. I give it 9/10.

Failed on the game design part tho. The players got frustrated. U PHAIL'D Konami!!!

You know, I had to use VPN to get to their website. Thier blocking other internet connection from other country other then thier list. if you are lucky then you might get through.

I tried using VPN then close it then use Malaysia IP. But after a few second they start to block.

But it's still hard to register because damn error always occur.

I think everyone is banging on the server thats why.
