i'm using the "thing(don't know what should i call it - grey colour" that cover the whole macbook pro when i purchase one last time to put my mbp battery in to protect and avoid dents or scratch. but i lost the "grey cover", so i'm trying to find something like case logic for that big dimension (MBP Battery Dimensions: 8.3 x 6.4 x 2.3 inches) but i can't found it on9. can i know how all of u protect ur battery when u don't use it and what u use to put in the battery when u don't use it ?

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jan 9 2008, 09:48 AM) @suiryuu, U mean u take the batt out of the laptop and keep the batt separately when ur on power connection? If it's not too much trouble, perhaps u could just keep it back in the box, otherwise just find a bag or something to keep it in? I find it a hassle to 'disconnect' the battery each time i'm on power supply so i just leave it there Plus my MBP can be on for days at a time so i need the batt plugged in yes i mean i unplug my battery after charged and when i use power adapter to run my mbp. yeah i'm finding those bag to put my battery safely and protect it. but seems hard to find one. that's y i'm posting those topic and ask u guy Added on January 9, 2008, 10:26 pmQUOTE(kwekeugene @ Jan 9 2008, 04:15 PM) I hope the casing you are looking for is for an ADDITIONAL battery. Macbooks run the processor are lower speeds without the battery installed.. I guess you could just put it in the storage compartment of your laptop bag. I haven't seen much of a "battery" bag. Try bookstores perhaps and get a pencil case. well no leh i don't have additional battery, so can i know r u advising me to plug in my battery always even after full charge and using power adapter that time. well i'm hunting the bag for my battery. QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jan 10 2008, 12:36 AM) @suiryuu, Yes u can use ur MB when it's being charged i do that all the time well sorry noob question again, i'm asking "charging" that time can i use my mbp ? of course "charged" i can use my mbp with batt. is it everytime drain all my batt then i charge is better compare to "like i still have 50% batt life then i connect the power adapter" is it not that good to do that ?

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jan 11 2008, 08:40 PM) @suiryuu, 1) Yes u can use ur MBP when you are charging your MBP 2) You don't need to drain your battery completely before each charge; do it once a couple of months should be sufficient. Your batt won't last forever even if you dont' use it, u know? yes i know, thx for advice. but i just use it seldom last time. a month few times. and when presentation.
