I need to change to better TCU .... Everyday I drive uphill and downhill to office.. From Jalan Maroof to Sprint Highway, the downshift force my "wife" to eat so much petrol. .. RPM reach 5k , km/h reach 70km/h only .. but when reach bottom of hill, my car can fly

Anyone here master their Gen2's TCU ? ... My car sometime downshift and sometime doesnt, (even on the same highway going downhill) ... Cant even pinpoint the conditions for the downshift.. is it rpm related, or km/h related?

If dont change, I'm going to die    ... First pump full tank for my 2nd hand gen = 321km for $65 ... 9.7l/100km ($0.20cent per km )
  Maybe he "modded" the car? ... Can help check past receipt? Maybe can find model number and pricing

Havent tune the car (don't think that prev owner did any tuning) ... Now waiting for salary to go and do tuning ... People has been quoting me 200 for meca-tune, using experiences instead of computer ... any cheaper recommendations?
P/S: using auto tranmission

my car clocked 100k d but never did any tune up...can manage to get good mileage.....

dexter.... it can be done... coz whole panel change which the wiring all for power window swtich, locking metal rod or something else u call it, the center locking switch, all have to be redo again.. ask in platinium showroom b4.... said can be done but just the price not sure yet bro...

for that money i think i better dump in for iafm 1st leh....

hmm there's an aftermarket console available u can get it from kedai abang or other acc shops. But that is 1 din n u need to cut it to become 2din. For my case i did not use the console bcos i use the original face from failure unit and cut it apart and slot in the gaps.

My ride? Well since my brother hate it so he didn't really took good care of it. So I think its pretty screwed up, so he's going fix it today Gen2 isn't that bad, for my point of view its quite a comfortable car actually It doesn't jerk that much, except when the gearbox suddenly change into lower gear all of a sudden :s
What colour do you guys think suits best for Gen2? It would be nice if you guys could post a picture of your Gen2

lsd = limited slip differential...

basically if u launch at high rpm, both tyres will be locked so it reduced the tyre slip...normally the gb will pull only 1 side of the tyre not both...

actually this is suitable for drag purposes but normal daily driving oso can considering it comes bulk with the gear lever, clutch pedal etc...

anyway if u want a longer ratios, i've got one gb a gsr 1.8 gb ahahah
