i heard they improve the jerking problem when the car is in slow speed which  notice occasionally with my manual car. My brother bought a 1.6 manual pesona and i havent got the time to test it on the road yet. But I did feel some difference when I have to re-park his car at our parent house.

didn't hear of any jerking problems actually so can't comment on that

Yup, Every dang time i have to park the car or change lanes, i put in a small blindspot mirror to help with parking, when changing lanes have to turn the head

It's a design flaw, they have to redesign the mirror completely or change the driving position

I attached the fish-eye mirror to minimize this problem. But a bit dangerous until you get used to it. First because you now have more view points to look at. Second, because in an instant moment u might only look at the fish eye mirror and use it as the reference. An object will look further in this mirror thus giving u a false distance and speed.

Yes you can it's easy, there are two screws you can loosen on the catch to move it either up or down, moving down makes it hold tighter and up looser. What you want to do is loosen it slightly so that it's still tight but the catch can move, then tap it downwards with something heavy gently to move it a little at a time. Then close the bootlid and check, keep doing until you get the tightness and still you don't need to slam really hard to close it. It takes a lot of patience to get it right, but don't release the screws fully and you'll have hell of a time getting it right again. Once you get the tightness you want you can wrap some elctrical insulation tape on the catch for some extra sound dampening, but get it right and you won't need it

The rubber help to hold the boot lid if it's tight enough, but can't adjust though

The lock can also be adjusted but i've never done it before, usually just the catch is enough

You can try using the aquarium air hose, but it might tear pretty quickly
