Steel counters stand a chance to make big gain in April if everything went accordingly to plan. If you are in Steel industry, you will know what usually happen every year April.

The more you inflate a balloon, the more likely it is to burst. Dont blame the Fed, blame yourself for being greed.

1. The rate cut came too late
2. Banks must accept the blame for mis-guilding investors and Fed regarding how deep they are in this shit. Instead we have all sort of cover up.
3. I think HSI react well to the rate cut cos its financial system follows those in US which means lower interest rate for their banking sector which will ultimately increase their profitability and liquidity.

Dont know whether its a good time to enter or not. Europe slid again yesterday, giving back more than it gain a day earlier. Better wait n see lor. BTW there's talk of another 75basis point cut next week. Now if they cut again next week, ppl will say it must be terible out there. But if they didnt cut, ppl will say Fed are being laggard again. LOL...

There is a lot of beaten up stock out there right now. Parkson, BLDPLNT, Asiatic, Genting, LionDiv, Sime, BDRB, Tenaga. LionDiv seem to move alongside Parkson. Buy if you dare. I know my granduncle bought Maybank @ 11.20 looking for a bonus issue for every 40lots (4000units) shares.

For me, DJIA drop 10000 points also doesnt matter.
Look at the S&P 500 index.. if it drop below 1300, time for a correction.
If it doesnt, it will continue like this.. swing up and down.. who dies who lives hang on a thin wire..
