Hi I am new here. Just got a VOX AD30VT. However I was thinking that the built in effects is not enough although the amp models are great.

Can someone recommend me an entry level multi effects processor to go with the AD30VT? Since the AD series are modelling amps, would another effect processor work with it?

1) I am wondering how it will sound with the built in effects on and with the multi effect processor on at the same time? Perhaps I can get a few effects together! Dont know if it will work or not?

2) If the effects processor has an amp model for example AC30 or Marshall JCM and I on the AC30TB built in amp model in the amp and on the AC30 amp model from the effects processor at the same time, how will it sound like?

Anyone try out before?

Since you already like the amp modelling, why don't you get a Boss ME-20 or if you have a little more budget, the ME-50.
Both of them are effects only processors without Amp simulations.

Actually I remember the ME-50 having some overdrive models [not really sure so take it with a pinch of salt].

only the 100 watt versions have effects loop. But there are diagrams for and effects loop mod. Gimme some time to look for it again. =p

anyone tried having the multi effect amp model + built in amp modelling on vox AD both on at the same time? how does it sound like?

besides boss, any other entry level models?
