hey guys i just bought this phone..then i realize
it was ap one! not original..can i change
the screen to the original one..so that it has
W walkman logo..how much it cost? anyone?

^ does that make any differences other than wasting your money? you should have done more research in the 1st place. and if u change screen, you already void the warranty. what for? besides, if u change the screen, doesnt mean ur phone is original set at anyway...

Ya...agree with seaedge, why wanna change the cover?..if its AP than no need to make it look like ORI..same thing la...waste money what changing that display cover...no need la..

Next time do more 'searching' before buying..Google first...

when does the red color ap release? i think red color is the best, but hard to find.

Hey guys , I just bought the handphone ori set! It's seriously awesome .. But yea as people say , the phone hangs sometimes.Not sure if there's an update for it. will check later and inform .

Yea , it should be identical actually . I've checked a few shops and the ap models they show are identical with the walkman logo etc etc. Except the sticker at the battery compartment of the phone and the warranty of course. But If I were you, i'll just go for the ori set. The price diff is only around RM150 and you don;t have to worry about anything

Well ,might not be ur taste but I love the design. Although I don't really fancy the walkman part at the bottom of the phone lol . Updated the phone firmware to the latest version and I'm happy to say no freezing & the menu navigation is smooth so far

Sound quality ?? Even at max volume there are no cracks or whatsoever . But it Isn't very loud . I guess it's to avoid the cracking though. So far it seems flawless for me ( after the FW update of course ) . No more sluggish navigation and phone hangs .

I have no idea since I don't own a w580 . It's good anyway. But what's important abt sound quality? I doubt u'll hardly use the loudspeakers to on music . Music always sounds the best on headphones .

What did the review say? Here's what I think of the major features
- Camera : 3.2 mp took a few shots.Good quality I must say . But there isn't flash and you are stuck with potrait camera menu. It's a walkman phone anyway so I nvr expected much more except including AF would have been better

- Walkman : The walkman interface is great . But you can't use equalizer if you don't use headphones. Don't know why. But it does't matter to me anyway . Hardly touch that stuff . An internal FM transmitter would have been a plus though. Oh well, can always get the external transmitter !

-Accelerometer : Working great so far . It takes around 1-2 seconds for the screen to change which isn't a big deal. When using it for need for speed , I'd prefer using the normal keypad . Even ps3's sixaxis feature is hardly used and not really that good . What more a handphone?

- Battery life : The battery drains quite fast if u use loudspeakers for music & Brightness @ 100% I guess. Don't know how long it can last coz I charge it every night haha.

- GPS : Haven't actually tried it . Not interested anyway . Don't wanna end up relying on gps my entire life or else I'll forget how to get to my condo from my car park LOL

- Applications : The phone comes with 6 fully playable games and 10 other extra applications. That's seriously a bomb package I must say !

One thing I didn't like though , the headphones they included isn't a walkman earphone

So , If you are just a music freak who listens to music on the go most of the time , loves stylish slide phones & Don't expect anymore than that, Get it ! It is seriously a buy which is value for money because it is seriously great for the price it's selling for.
