Well it can handle my 10 torrents of 5-26gb files (yes, freaking huge) unlike deluge... so gotta stick to it until i finish those guys then run back to deluge for the smaller file torrents.

Since I got a msn - Zeustronic: utorrent seems like slower bitcomet
Thought I post this up. Why i haven't started dling the 157gb file is am waiting for my hdd dock to transfer files over to my other 500gb hdds. Maybe Thunderbolt will sponsor me a 4mb line since he is enjoying his hahaha Attached thumbnail(s) |

Some ppl ask me how to get good speeds so here r two secrets: Private trackers n 1k over seeds.

Private trackers enforce an upload ratio so its always good speeds. Public trackers dont. Not to mention popular torrents, some hitting 2k-5k each can bog down the tracker's server. Remember, 2k-3k seeds X 10K torrents = bandwidth death. Now add 1-100 seed torrents X 500k.

Unless its a low level private tracker the only chance u can get in is by invite or the once in a purple moon open registration. Like me am in funfiles.

Not to mention 100mb lines...
Added on April 4, 2008, 11:02 amBTW I notice the new version of utorrent is a bit slower than the older version (2 versions back). Or is it the international link again? This post has been edited by RangerRed: Apr 4 2008, 11:02 AM |
