QUOTE(G-Izzat @ Jan 9 2008, 03:13 PM) Mine is week 46 year 2007. Doesn't seem to have that problem. Some have said that updating the FW does make a difference, and some said it's a hardware problem. i notice that most pics posted..the green tint isn't that noticeable unless really take a close look 2 it. anyway, how to check the manufacturing date of the phone? eg. week XX year 200X |

Then look for something like this. 07WXX. Something like that. You should find it at the back of the phone. i can't even notice it from the pics u posted, bro. means i'm not choosy? alright. thanks bro G-Izzat. will check for that. |

QUOTE(yuheng @ Jan 11 2008, 08:35 AM) so what i need to do is, get a white paper, and photo it? should i on the flash? and should i take it in dark enviornment, as u know, sometime we COD at some shopping complex, it will be really hard to do tat... QUOTE(MoNnY @ Jan 11 2008, 09:15 AM) yea good question.. but judging from the pictures, set it to auto, just shoot a blank white paper.. cause if it does have the tint, should be really obvious QUOTE(lovehewit @ Jan 11 2008, 09:29 AM) Don't put too high hope. I went to one service center before. I also called up SE for the same complaint, both telling me: the problem now is whether do the seller allow us to do so when COD, if there's any green tint issue, will he/she allow us to change another set. must get the confirmation from them first. especially those from LYN HP Sales threads. 1. WAIT 2. They have not received such complain on P1i before. I think we need to spread this issue out, whoever got such problem should at least call up SE. They are not doin their job. Complained 2 days ago. No more news from them ever since. |

RM89 for first month then RM70 for 23 months. total RM1699. quite a good buy since it's an original set + cheaper than market price + offers 0% installment plan. but gotta wait 2 weeks for the phone to arrive once approved. trying to get my hands on one now. waiting for parents' permission.
where u got the info from anyway? it's not even on the bank's website. got to know it thru Ambank CC promo personnel @ shopping complexes. This post has been edited by teikwing: Jan 16 2008, 02:15 AM |

hey guys...just found out that OCBC is having 0% installment plan for P1i too. RM158 x 12 months. total is RM1896. any idea how much is the market price for an ori set? is it RM19xx? Ambank is having the same promo too but only RM1699 & installment plan up to 24 months. but 24 months is way too long.

QUOTE(travolta_lim @ Jan 30 2008, 11:44 PM) Teik Wing, Mind to tell me how did u get from OCBC? i got it from my mom's OCBC credit card promo catalog. RM158 X 12 months installment. valid till March. Ambank also having promotion for its credit card holders. cheaper @ RM1688. RM89 first month then RM70 for next 23 months. I only know we can puchase from UOB online shop(by installment). Today went to Tesco Penang, saw a phone shop. Go in and asked for P1i price, he told me RM1.9k . Fine, then i asked how about AP? He told me: I think u have to get it from Kastam. Then he laugh no la just kidding we dont have it. WTF, dont have then say dont have la. This kind of "humour" is not entertaining. never know UOB provide the P1i package too. how much is their offer price? the best place in Penang to get AP sets is Prangin i think. it's not so 'wide-spread' like in KL. EDIT : just checked @ UOB online store. retail @ RM2188. RM186 first month & RM182 for next 11 months. price is kinda steep as compared to other banks. best offer is from RHB bank currently. heard that the offer is till Feb. I hope it does cause the adapter is very important to me |

guys, just leave the WM fanboy alone. obviously he's just trying to get some attention here. i've actually bought M600i even w/o even trying its keypad. fall in love with the phone just with the pictures & reviews.
i admit that the QWERTY keypad is really hard to use @ first if u just moved from a normal phone but well, after one week of usage, i'm loving it. honestly. after been using it for almost a year, i can't even think of moving back to normal keypad phones again. like Shufflerz, P1i has been the top gadget on my wish list since it's out. for a mere 1.3K, it offers the best package in a phone. and the best part is, i'm getting mine soon, very soon. joining the big & happy family. |

QUOTE(williamlee_1985 @ Feb 23 2008, 01:16 AM) enquired bout this phone in a shop.. the boss recommend me to get original wan as ap set if the lcd spoiled, no warranty and he said maybe the ap technician not pro enough can't repair. he said for phone with touch screen better to get original. nowadays, lotsa AP suppliers & companies do provide 12 months warranty for the LCD if not mistaken. but not sure which companies though. u gotta survey around. think there's a few selling in garage sales. but in the end, it all boils down to ur budget, if u got extra cash, go for original, which cost around 500 bucks more, but its warranty is more or less the same. is this true? what do u guys think? |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « well said, bro. fully agree with each of the statements. no doubt it's the best value-for-money Symbian UIQ phone in the market currently. |

QUOTE(carbon14 @ Apr 17 2008, 09:03 PM) Yes you are right about the specs and the price drop that P1 will experience when G900 is released. I think that even if the price will drop, the price for a new SE phone will allow you to buy "2 P1is" . Your right about this part. we can observe that P1i's price had actually dropped quite much lately, especially within these few months. it was around RM13XX during pre-CNY period. now it hovers around RM1090 only. makes it so so affordable to own one nowadays, not suprisingly seeing so many on the streets now. If the phone were to launch by May/July the price drop in P1 will be inevitable. Which is great news. If lets say someone would to buy a P1i now, should he wait for the phone to be launched and expect the price drop? My personal answer is "Yeah why not if you can wait" anyway, it's really inevitable for P1i's price to drop continually until G900 is launched & drop more after that. it's normal for phone's price to drop when new models are coming out. by June it would been almost a year since P1i was launched (IINM, it was launched around July last year). but the price really dropped more than P990i in the same time frame. but its good to have such feature-packed phone at such affordable price right? its still one of the most value-for-money phone till now. no doubt. |
