hi all,

had used before few models of SE phones.. always worry about the fast port, after long term use, the fast port connection will start to get loose with the earphone or usb, even charger...

i believe some of you face the same problems right?

anyway to protect? or any maintenance suggestion?

Yes, happened to me before and most likely to happen again in the future because I'm still using Sony Ericsson phone  biggrin.gif . Btw. if you're facing the problem right now, you could try to clean the metal plate on the port. Don't use anything that will scratch the plate or your problem might get worse. Cleaning with isopropyl alcohol should do the trick smile.gif

i used to hv this prob, and solved using the below way. not sure it will work for u, but u can try:

go to:

control panel/ messaging/ mms account

a) make sure there is a "service centre address" filled up
b) under "internet account", try key in "Maxis MMS 3G"
the rest let them by default

hope this helps.

teikwing is right. There's one SE service center in Amcorp Mall, PJ. I've asked before, they charge RM 216 for 1 P1i casing
