hrms.. was wondering if there are any other programs for P1i to backup files in the PC?
my fren uses this program for his W800i... can back up sms and view them all in the pC... but its not compatible with P1i... >.<

well.....i guess p1i does comes with its own pc suite that has the feature to backup phone data? correct me if i am worng...

for data there's PC suite
for SMS i remember there's a application tat can turn your sms into txt file and then you can proceed to copy them for backup in pc

Im an ardent P series supporter since the P900 to P910 and now Im using the P990. To say, the P990 really dissapointed me big time. Now Im considering upgrading again. Really tempted to go for the N95 8 Gig or N82 because considering the say its no point to go from P990 to P1 cos its almost the same. I still would prefer the P series but the thing is the P1 loses out on GPS/AGPS, Xenon flash and some other functions. Anyone got news that SE is coming up with a new phone to go against the Nokia N Series phones? Dont know whether to wait or not

rumours are there would be something called p5i out soon, but no one can confirm yet. IMHO Xenon flash would not be implemented in P series.

so...is the P1i Wifi compatible?

and i'm using an SE W series phone now afraid I might not be able to adapt to the new QWERTY key pad...

one draw back of this phone is no GPS...

considering this of the K850i since price is not much of a diff n i do use the camera alot...

IF P1i comes with GPS function, it would has been priced at much higher price, somehow i wonder, do u ppl need GPS so much? seriously?

hrms... my friend uses My phone explorer.. its nice.. can even read and send sms when u have the fon connected.. but its not compatible with P1i... tested it... >.<

Any update on the green tint? Anyone managed to get it fixed via warranty? SE center hasn't come back to me, and this is the 6th day after my complain. Hope whoever having the same problem call them up at 1-800-889900. I think they ignored my complain. I was told I'm the only one lodged such complain.

look on the bright side, same resolution on smaller screen makes your screen looks nicer

Big screen can hold far away so arm can rest on table...Smaller screen have to hold closer and eyes have to do macro mode...

But still if can do 3" 640x480 or 3.2" 720x480 will be a killer display... Japan phones already have VGA and WVGA...When will international brand do that...? Wait until head big liao...

yups i do. GPS got me safe n sound to Camerons =) my 1st time driving there too bad the GPS was a friends hehe wouldn't mind if i have my own =)
